As a single component sealant, Vulkem 116 will reach full cure in 14 to 21 days at 75 °F and 50% Relative Humidity. The cure of Vulkem 116 will slow as temperature or humidity decrease. Dark Bronze Vulkem 116 is the same great Vulkem 116...
Dark Bronze Vulkem 116 is the same great Vulkem 116 product, but in Dark Bronze. My only complaint is that it is VERY dark, think "crude oil", or "nearly black". We were looking for something more like brown. There are many other shades that Vulkem comes in, but Home Depot does not carry very many of them. Also, the package does not show the color except the text "Dark Bronze."

Used It up around the flashing I installed around my chimney it was easy to use, went on nice. Looks like it will last a long time , time will tell.

Wat like hard rubber in tube. I cut large hole in tip' made sure seal was punctured i had squeezed until contents came up tube and would not move any farther. Finally caulking gun colapsed. ( WAS CURED IN TUBE)

Used on pool coping where my pool deck had steps...
Used on pool coping where my pool deck had steps that needed some type of elastic caulk instead of mortar that cracked after the original pool installation. They used mortar instead of mastic because it holds form on vertical surfaces and that's why I chose this product to replace the mortar. Very tacky and held form on the vertical portion of the deck quite well. Will have to see how it holds up, but looks great right now.

The Vulkem could barely be squeezed out of the tube,...
The Vulkem could barely be squeezed out of the tube, and one tube “blew out” the side of the tube. I don’t know whether or not the day’s cool weather (high 40’s) was the cause of this, but I never had trouble with Vulkem on other occasions.
