We apologize this was not the model you were expecting. We offer a deck mounted series skylight that may be more aligned with your requirements. Everything in the kids feel like a glove everything is explained if you don't know how to put it on you can go to YouTube everything that keep the rain and the water out from the snow I live in Michigan thanks
