Works great as advertised

This Polyurethane is very good stuff. Easy to apple, and looks great. Do not buy Old Masters Polyurethane it's not good.

I used this to refinish my hardwood floors and it goes down smoothly and evenly no bubbles. Now it's been a few months and it's still looking great!

Looks great and easy

Ok for those who care about details and absolutely dislike that dated yellowish look you get from your regular poly varnish, this is the product to use. Your wood will stay true to its its original beauty. I used it on red oak, and it still looks like red oak after 4 coats of this. Highly recommend.

Varathane worked very well during application. The smell was minimal and dissipated quickly, we used in basement on new stairs. There was very little color change to the wood. My only issue was it raised the grain in the wood so we had to sand the first coat heavily and then apply a 4th coat to correct. We also had a lot of very small bubbles in the finish that we lightly sanded in between coats, but they are quickly settling or being polished off from traffic and no longer visible, so we probably over sanded in between. Not much traffic yet so can’t comment on wear. Certainly met our needs and would recommend.

Easy to apply and was great that I didn't need to sand. I applied 4 coats to 120 year old stairs. A tip would be if applying vertically, do very thin coat as it runs easily. Wish it only came in 1 gallon.

My floors are beautiful!

Good product, takes 4 coats so at almost $50 a gal more expensive than normal poly. Don’t like the fact it is not stocked in the store, must be ordered so make sure you hav enough or wait two weeks for shipment. Kitchen ended up with bubbles on the 3rd coat, had to sand out. Other rooms turned ok nice and clear. Only 1 month old so unsure of durability.

Works very well. There's a little odor but not to bad.

Great product. Used on walls and ceiling in 42'x52' garage. Has higher sheen and more protection of wood than regular polyurethane. Had previously had interior of log cabin done professionally using the High Traffic Formula. Loved it.

It went down pretty easy. I used the recommended four coats on my floor. The reason I didn't give it five stars is that it is slippery so have to be somewhat careful when you walk on it. It looks nice just have to be careful not to slip.

Excellent product, easy to apply, dries fast, blends well when patching missed spots. Highly recommended.

We put 4 coats on the floor and after letting it dry for a week there’s already scuff marks. Very disappointed in this product!!!!!

I stained my 45 year old red oak floors last year and it was explained to me by professionals that many flaws would not come out but boards would need replacement. Also told part of charm of such floors are the flaws. After reading reviews here I purchased and used this product. Flaws did not disappear but the overall effect is just fine. Not as much luster as semi-gloss oil based stain, but a soft, toned down look. What got me was very little odor, dried within two hours so I was able to double coat, and easy to work with a brush. I lightly hand sanded before the first coat. Have to say nothing like the ordeal of oil based with its odor that just lingers despite high ventilation. I highly recommend this product.

I own a 110 year old home with all original wood floors and trim, so I'm no stranger to having to refinish and redo wood flooring. I've tried quite a few different styles and brands of polyurethane in my time and I am honestly blown away by this one. Has the look and feel of a good oil based poly, but with the drying time of water based poly. It also doesn't leave behind the blue or white cast water based poly sometimes can. I'm able to work room by room with this one and not have to worry about renting hotel rooms while the floors set and cure, this is easily the best floor poly you can get.

The product went on easily - looked amazing. It scratches very easily. We did let the finish dry 3 days before moving furniture back in and they moved it carefully. We had applied dark stain and the stain from the cracks/seams leached out with the poly finish. I had to hand paint those. I followed the instructions so not sure what happened.

As advertised, dries fast, self leveling, and very little odor. Hopefully it will hold up to traffic.
