The most common reason a lawn does not respond to fertilizer is soil pH. Soil pH must be in-between 5.5-7.5 for fertilizer to be absorbed by the grass. We suggest performing a soil pH test. Thatch over 1/2" thick prevents the nutrients from getting to the plant roots. Grass may be under stress from disease or insect activity. A continued or general yellow look may indicate a lack of iron.

Top notch product. I’ve been using Vigoro for many years, go back to when we lived in Florida. What I like about this product is that it exceeds my expectations at an affordable price.Even though the price has gone up considerably.( but so has everything today) I will say that my grass looks great and I received many compliments. With in 72 hours after application my lawn is green I use all Vigorro grass treatment products. I highly recommend.

Easy to apply and water in. My lawn is a southern mix of everything from Bermuda, rye,centipede, etc. No worries. Greened up and lush out within a week of application. This area was depleted by a large oak that I had removed. Grass was not healthy but after two applications it is impressive. Best fertilizer for southern lawns I’ve purchased in 71 years.

Unfortunately it seems not to have made any difference to the lawn. The information indicated greener lawn in 72 hours. It has been one week since application.
