Hmm, that does sound right. Matt! First, make sure to stir the Rust-Oleum Watco Lacquer thoroughly before and during use. For the best results, take care not to over brush, or apply with a roller. Apply using a good quality bristle brush or applicator only. Allow the finish to dry 2 hours and then recoat. Recoat only when the previous coat has dried clear and feels hard. If any coat has dried more than 6 hours, you'll need to lightly sand with 220 grit sandpaper before recoating to avoid brush marks. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 5
