Excellent tank
This was a perfect replacement tank. It comes with the elbow on the bottom, so all I had to do was screw in my PVC fitting. The tank comes with about 38PSI, so if you have a 30/50 switch you need to reduce the pressure to about 27 psi, which is easy to do with the valve on top. The paint looks excellent and should last many ears without rusting. I do think that with the purchasing power of The Home Depot, that the price could be lower.

Easy to install, and pre pressurized definitely helped out in the installation. Installation was in a well pit so it was a tight fit but with a smaller circumference then the original bladder tank this was the ideal option.

Excellent value for the size and in stock at my nearby HD. Installed easily and I have it set up to run at 40-60 psi. Found it pressurized a little high at 43 psi, but easily adjusted. Working great at the one week point and hoping it will last long beyond it's 5 year warranty.

    WATER WORTHLESS JUNK!
Box says 5 year warranty, What a load of crap that is. Installed Tank in Dec. of 2021, still have receipt. Blew out in Jan of 24. Two years and 2 weeks it lasted. Previous tank lasted 21 years of course it wasn't WATER WORTHLESS! Book says to contact distributor (HOMEDEPOT) which was a waste of time. Contacted Manufacturer, another waste of time. Save time and money. Don't buy this junk!

      Waterworks 20 gallon pressure tank
The pressure tank only lasted four years. The diaphragm went bad. I called Home Depot. They said they don’t back it up so to call the manufacture neither of them back it up. It’s a lot of work to plummet in and only have it last that long. I’ve had several in the past and they last at least 15 years the 20. So I would spend more money next time and get a better one.

Most new steel water tanks are 18 Guage
For 20 gallon units that is a shipping weight of about 33 LBS. Simple DIY installation to replace heavy duty 40 YO galvanized tank. Like aircraft you only get so many pressurization cycles before stress cracks develop near the welded hoop seam. I'm running two Water Worker tanks in tandem to increase diaphragm life and reduce the number of pressure cycles per day to just one or two now. Working perfectly with peak pressures near 50 PSI instead of 60. The Water Worker stainless steel connector will be important after five years. I reduced the pre-charge to 30 PSI for the lower working pressure. 34 second fill time with 1 HP pump. Home Depot does not provide a five year warranty so don't buy this expecting warranty replacement if you have a high pressure, short cycling system with over five fills a day.

          Easy to install
My husband and I purchased our Water Worker 20 Gallon Pressurized Well Tank after our old one stopped working. My husband said it was easy to install, it only took him a couple hours to put in. So far, it works great and we're happy with it.

            Lasted 3yrs - then flood
The tank looked nice when installed. 3.25yrs later a pinhole developed which began to flood the house. Fortunately, I noticed the same day and turned off well and valves limiting damage. I recommend checking tank daily after 3yrs of use. The well guy said this is a 3-5yr tank. The warranty is 1yr. The new tank cost double but has a 7yr warranty.

              Rusty Water
I had one of these for 6 years so when it went out I got a new one,but this time I put a filter on before the tank and one after the tank. All this time i thought my well water was just rusty, full of iron. Well it is what is coming out of the tank that is rusty not my well. This makes me sick to know this and now either I use it till it goes or replace it with something better and be out 360 dollars.

Only been in for 2 days but install was a breeze. Seems solidly built. Time will tell how long it holds up. Made by a well know tank company selling under a different name at a higher price. I am sure this one is of lesser quality for pricing.
Seems like a 'well' made tank

Rusted through in less than 5 years
It worked well until it rusted through from the inside. Did not last long at all.

I'll tell you in about 5 years
Replacing another brand unit that failed in less that 5 years purchased from another home improvement store. It should have been covered by warranty, but that brand's warranty is void if installed outside. That would be about 95% of the installations in Florida - we don't have basements and it never freezes. Shame on that other store for even selling them in Florida. Shame on me for not checking the warranty first. The Good: The buying process was good, I ordered online for store pickup. I got curbside delivery, so they brought it to my vehicle and helped me load it. This is a sizable and heavy item. It appears to be a quality item with a metal base compared to the one it replaced had a plastic base. It is pre-charged with air, it is supposed to be setup for 40-60 psi range (see "The Bad" below). Very large capacity for residential - I researched and there are very confusing formulas for how big a pressure tank you need, but this company's website says you can never have "to big." Keeps the well pump from cycling on so frequently. The Bad: I ordered first from my local HD that showed 2 in stock on the website. They called me later and told they were cancelling my order because they didn't have any in stock. I had used a coupon that I received from HD in an email and it was lost with the cancelled order. I had to call HD Customer Service to get it back after attempting to use "Chat" to do the same and be told the coupon was lost and could not be recovered. I ordered from a second HD store farther away and the process went smoothly. In checking the metal "L" fitting on the bottom of the unit I found a lot of black goo in the fitting and had to clean it up before installing. The pre-charged air pressure was way to high for 40-60 psi operation. This is a small thing, I would rather it be to high than to low. I just released air pressure until I got it down to 38 psi. Much better than getting the air compressor out to raise the level. Be sure to check the air pressure after installation and before you turn the pump back on.

                  Great Replacement
Replaced my original single Gould's tank that had started leaking from rust at the top of the tank because of a leaking diaphragm. Recently started having problems with my two Flotec tanks purchased in 2009 from Home Depot. Both tanks had leaking bladders and water was getting rusty. I'm sure the failure was my fault for not checking the air pressure in both thanks for several years. Replacement bladders can be found but are almost the cost of these new tanks and a pain to change. Installation was simple and I rearranged the tanks and sat them up on concrete blocks with caps (much easier to work on). Both tanks were in excellent condition with no dents or bent bases, even though I think the packaging could be a little better. Maybe a Styrofoam collar around the middle of the tank to hold them more secure in the box. Hard to tell about the longevity since they have only been installed for a week. The well pump does not cycle near a much and runs for a longer period of time which is a good thing for a pump. The tank is advertised to have a polypropylene liner to help keep the water separated from the steel tank and a stainless liner in the 1-1/4" cast iron 90 degree elbow on bottom. Home Depot had them available and the best price compared to similar products from other similar stores. Time will tell and I will be checking the air pressure more often.

Product was just as expected in great working condition and great shape free of defects. Air pressure was at 38 psi for a 40/60 pressure switch and really reduces work on pump. I am very pleased with the performance and price. I recommend this product and of course Home Depot for having it in stock to pick up.

Replaced a 40 year old 30 gallon tank. 30 gallons is ok for a family of 3, however I have 6 so and upgrade was needed. Greatly reduced the run time of my well pump during heavy water use times. 80 gallons was just right for my family.

We hooked this new tank up to our existing line in very tight confines. When we opened the water line and turned on the pump, the tank leaked from the metal fitting attached below the tank. We were thus forced to shut the system down, drain all water lines and cut pipes to access the leaking fitting. What we found was that the tank elbow was all rusted and had chewed up the threaded male pvc adapter that we had screwed on to it. Even though the tank fitting had a plastic plug on it, it still had substantially rusted causing the failure. We were forced to manually scour the fitting (with a small wire brush and Dremel tool) until it was clean enough to accept a new threaded adapter. That worked but this should not happen with a new tank. What a pain. Boo!

                      Good Tank but...
Water Worker tanks are made by Amtrol (a.k.a. Well-x-Trol) in Rhode Island and have similar quality however in order to keep costs down for the Big Box retail industry they are lighter (thinner gauge steel) and unfortunately they do not use a brass 1-1/4” elbow at the bottom of the tank. They use a black iron one that will rust. They also do not provide a brass bushing from 1-1/4” to 1” to fit your tank tee so be aware of that as well. I give four stars only because if the Black iron elbow and no bushing. PS: I’m sure some plumbers reading this might consider a Black iron elbow acceptable but its not. Higher end tanks do not. They use Brass or stainless steel lined ones

Manufactured 5 years ago and now its leaking.
Manufactured in 2014, purchased in 2015, Rusted through and leaking in 2019. Previous water tank lasted 10+ years. Going to be switching to a competitor who offers a better warranty. I would recommend to pay a little more for a better constructed tank.

it installed fairly easy , its a different design than the standard tank from years past , so l had to get extra parts to make the hookup , at first l had l problem with it not filling with water , called customer service ,told them the problem and they gave me the solution , but l had to do 2-3 times for it to fill all the way , it seems that the bladder inside the tank settles and folds over on its self from storage and shipping with the pre-charge of air inside / other wise it works just fine

Ours came with the support welded incorrectly. So we had to cut a new hole in the base to run the T to the tank. I would have returned it but I needed to get water flowing as soon as possible as it was -23 C.

Can't say to much about a product that does exactly what it is supposed to do. I can say I purchased this pressure tank to replace one that was slightly undersized. We never seem to have quite the desired pressure in the past. By replacing our old one with this model the house water pressure is now excellent and easy to regulate.
