My daughter needed one board replaced on her deck. The deck must be at least 20 years old but this new board fit in nicely. It is nice to know that in today's world of shrinkflation there are some things that are still made like they always were. Well, except the treatment is no longer deadly to humans.

Very good product. After letting them dry out and acclimate for about two weeks, only 5% were unusable Home Depot took them back with no problem.

Very Nice, Clear Pressure Treated Lumber
This lumber was extremely nice. Generally, pressure treated lumber is full of knots and cracks but this "Premium" lumber had very few imperfections. Using this lumber for an outdoor bench restoration provided a very nice end product as the pictures will show. Paying the little extra for the "Premium" grade lumber is well worth the cost for making a quality end product.

Excellent quality of wood provided to complete this project. I used the boards for the top of an outside cover for my lawn sprinkler pump and LP gas bottle area. I cook with gas and using the small bottles allows me to haul them in the trunk of my car for a refill. A bottle lasts 1 1/2 - 2 months.

There's not much you can say about a piece of pt lumber, but I do find myself buying about 8-10 of these a month year round to build mini, kid sized, picnic tables to sell as a hobby. I have found that HD always has a good quantity on hand, even through the winter when it's off season. The quality of these is much better then what I see in my 2 local big blue box stores indoor lumber yard and I haven't had any warp badly on me as pt wood can sometimes do when drying out. It's easy to find straight, uncupped and unbowed planks with very few to no knots for my tables.

Great board, I have used it for both decking and carpentry. Most boards on the pile are generally in good shape (no bad bends) and appearance is good. It is generally wet from pressure treating so it takes screws without pre-drilling (at least 1.5" or greater from edges). I do not gap this boards when wet for decking, when they shrink (dry) they gap on their own. Do not stain or paint these boards for several months until they have dried out. Boards are made of whitewood (pine, fir, spruce)

It's really what it is. It's super wet, and very consistent in its inconsistency. But it works, you know, it's what it is, and if this is what you expect and want to your project, this works just fine. Just don't expect it to be anything pristine or perfect. And just get 25% more than you actually need so you can pick and choose, and return the crappiest ones. This is not going to blow your mind with quality, so keep your expectation in check.

Very pleased with this batch of deck boards. 110 ordered online, so I didn't get to choose for myself.
Only had to cull 4 out of the entire batch. Boards were damp from treating, so I didn't use any spacing during the install. 3ish weeks later, I have 1/16" to 1/8". Happy with the results considering my skills are fairly in the "wood butcher" realm.
My only complaint (not much of one,) is the stamp. I had to use the 'bad' side of a handful of the boards, and the stamp is showing. I'm sure it will fade soon enough though.

I bought a good amount of the 5/4in Weathershield Premium Pine Decking and the product is far from "premium". First of all, you may as well block of a good 4 hours to sift through the pile at the store to find any usable pieces. I started out looking for good pieces and end up settling for usable. This is basically the only option for pressure treated pine at Home Depot and it is pitiful. I bought enough for a 10' by 20' deck and many of the pieces had loose knots or were splitting. Most of the usable pieces I found still had many knots but they were intact and flush with the rest of the board. In addition, many of the boards are slightly warped which increases the install time significantly. It was very difficult to get consistent spacing between boards because of the poor quality and warping. Many boards had to be cut down to 6 or 4 feet to be usable resulting in significant waist. This is a relatively cheap product and did work for my project but it was painful and disappointing. It is 2018, Home Depot should be able to find better suppliers that can deliver a good product and that have good quality control. I am hopeful that this product is able to hold up long term now that it is installed.

How much is there to say? It’s wood. I will say the lot of wood marked as premium grade decking but was certainly not premium. There were many defects in the wood like: knots, many of the boards were warped or checked, many weren’t even straight. I guess these boards were the rejects from the original Goodwood. So I called the manager and ask if they would consider selling them at a lower price the ones which were at least semi-straight and weren’t warped or massively checked. He agreed, and I got material good enough for my application. Check your wood before you buy it, people. “Premium” decking should be free of all defects or only have very minor ones. ‘Premium’ decking costs more money than standard decking. Standard decking will have much more defects but you pay less for it. Make sure you are getting what you pay for. You must sift through the lot and be sure you are buying boards that fit the price scheme.

I do recommend these boards, however if you purchase it make sure you are the one picking out the boards. I had my boards delivered, over all they were pretty decent, however there were 2 unusable boards in the deck boards, the 4x4 posts I received were off the outside edge of the tree, so they were all 4 rounded on at least one corner, and the 2x4 boards I got were in the same shape, one had a knot so big that the board was useless at one end.
In closing overall fairly satisfied with my purchase, however make sure you are the one picking your lumber.

It was very hard to sort through the substandard boards in the bunk to find ones that were actually 5/4 and not 1-5/32 because they were mixed together in the bunk. The lumber itself seemed of low grade in spite of being stamped #2.
