[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design of the water and ice in the door is all wrong. The water is right at the edge. If it drips it goes down the front of fridge not in the tray. The ice is right behind the water and is hard to get to without mashing the water valve which is easy to mash. The fridge and freezer seem fine. I would not buy this again because of the poor design of the ice and water in the door.

Very happy with this appliance. It is nicely refined, sturdy, runs quiet and has a top notch ice maker. Also their delivery men pulled it up a 39” wide staircase without complaint. Once inside, it could be rolled around effortlessly. Style1, this model, has leveling wheels, not leveling feet. Use piece of trim behind it to tip. Prop up front with a book, place a small block under each front corner. Turn wheel bolts left, remove book, and it will now sit on the blocks and no longer roll.

Only had it a few days but so far so good. Seems like a lot more room than our old traditional fridge. Always a little worried when bits fall out. See pic. It was not levelled when delivered and the door was totally out of alignment but I have fixed the door and am working on the levelling. The freezer door closes with a satisfying thud but not the main door which might have something to do with the bits that fell out one of which is a magnet. Anyone out there know where it goes?

You cannot put a bigger cup up under it, and if you aren't careful you can hit the water which is right above it. Should make dispenser area bigger. So far it is keeping cold, and working.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Likes: beautiful finish, long handles, glass (not wire) shelves in the freezer, sized right for my kitchen, 3 drawers in fridge, fridge shelves are elegantly designed and roomy without a wide (in the way) plastic spill strip, lots of options for door storage and I love the size of the ice cubes Dislikes: no leveling feet & Whirlpool support was not at all helpful. Yes I followed the directions on leveling but the refrigerator still wants to roll back and forth when opening and closing. This is an annoying problem! What happened to the round rubber feet? I see a place in the bracket where they should go but they are not there! The ice maker shutoff is very inconveniently hidden, (I would prefer the metal bar), and the water dispenser spout is angled such that water drips down the front of my always pristine and clean fridge cabinet. I’ve had it a week so will see how long it lasts. I expect 10-15 years out of my lightly used major appliances. My previous Whirlpool fridge was 16 years old when it finally died.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 3 weeks ago, I read all the reviews and had several concerns from the bad reviews.None of my concerns have been an issue. The refrigerator is very quiet, ive only heard the ice drop a couple of times. I live alone so it makes plenty of ice fairly quickly. I read complaints about it not having leveling adjustment for the feet, the installer put a level on top after installation and it was perfectly level. He also explained that with a wheel, a level adjustment is not possible. I prefer wheels, I had several occasions with my last fridge where I had to roll it out to get behind it. I also read complaints about the water dispenser dripping water down the front panel. Once you learn to correctly hold the cup/bottle this will not happen. The water dispenser is located at a more forward location so I can see how this could happen if you aren't paying attention. I have not even once experienced water dripping down the door. I guess it's because I read the reviews and am always careful to position my cup properly, it's a no brainer. It's an awesome refrigerator and I am very happy with it. I always buy Whirlpool products because they are the best!

My only negative is that it would have been nice if there was a little more explanation in the booklet that came with it of what certain things were. There was a little metal rack on the door that we were not sure if it was a shipping protection part or what, I did an internet search and found that it was a drink holder. All in all, we are happy with our purchase.

It works well, BUT it is not designed well. You cannot move the shelves in this fridge so you're stuck with where they are. Also, the top shelf is the one with the most room/space, so you end up putting the bigger and heavier objects up there as opposed to putting it on a lower shelf. I hope these shelves hold out. A lot of room in the doors, and those you can move and adjust...but I don't have them full, so whenever I open/close my fridge door (and I do it slowly) stuff falls about in there. I miss my old fridge.

PROS: It's quiet, I find it easy to organize my food, it keeps a constant temp (I bought a thermometer to check), and I love the can caddy! The water & ice dispenser are easy to use and the buttons are intuitive. CONS: the on/off switch for the ice maker is in a weird location and I wish I didn't have to remove the entire ice bin to access it. Also, we had some cubes and cracked ice get jammed in the exit shoot, but we figured it out and were able to easily clear the jam. Not sure how it happened. I'm glad I read the manual which says NOT to use stainless cleaner on the no-finger-print exterior. It's cleaned up easily with just a damp sponge. I'm happy with my purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my new frig for a month now and thought I wouldn’t like a side by side as my husband thought it would prevent me from buying too much food, but it holds so much I won! I love the 3 drawers and large door compartments. The freezer is actually easier to find things in rather than the drawers. Best deal ever. Like that it is up off the floor a little. Makes it easier to get under it. My last one was hard to clean under.

Shelves aren’t adjustable and there’s only one which can handle a taller container. This makes it very hard to access the back of all shelves. Water dispenser puts out only slightly cooled water. Also very awkward to use ice dispenser without hitting the water dispenser. Very messy. Temperature of both the fridge and freezer is consistent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the stainless steel. Don’t leave the kids fingerprints or the dog prints. It’s actually pretty roomie and it’s also deep. I bought this fridge thru my builder so I never actually looked at it except thru pictures. There’s enough space on the door for the milk jugs and a pitcher, love the ice maker and water feature. The ice can be crushed or cubed. The freezer is great too also roomie enough for my needs but may be a tad smaller than others may like.

It's very spacious, well lit, keeps veggies crisp, makes 2 types of ice, and looks great in our kitchen. The thing that annoys is the swing arc on the refrigerator door. It swings so wide that it literally flies out of your hand, making the contents in the door rattle. I'm afraid it's going to damage someone if they're standing behind it. Thankfully there is no wall nearby or the door would be dented. We've looked online for suggestions to alleviate it and saw that several other buyer have the same challenge - some event rigged cords to slow down the opening of the door. I wish Whirlpool would come up with a solution and post it somewhere.

Our only concern is the ice dispenser. .. it's too short. We have to use a smaller cup to get the ice out, not able to get our water bottle or thermos.

Am very happy about my purchase although making white appliances this difficult to find is disheartening. Would have given a 5 except as mentioned we paid 500.00 more for white vs stainless and also the water dispenser location needs to work!

My first experience with whirlpool is a 2,300 refrigerator. Ive had issues with it since the first week I bought it had it for 2 years now and I’ve had service on it 7 times already. Whirlpool warranty seems to not care much about my situation I’ve been with out a working fridge for over a month and they just seem to not try to fix the problem. Their warranty is the worse I will never again buy a whirlpool appliance ever after all the hassle they have me going through!
