We are sorry to hear you were not satisfied with the rubber handle of the Wooster Pro White China brush. A lot of times the handle can come down to personal preferences. With the white china brush line there are some with wood handles that may be closer to what you may prefer, unfortunately there isnt a short wood handle version but we do offer other options in the short brushes with the sturdy wood handles. (304270571) is a Silver tip short wood handled brush that is a Polyester filament brush that will leave a smooth finish, (205647260) the little genius is a plastic handle short brush option as well, and (304263436) Gold Edge short wood handle as well is an option. We regret learning that you were not satisfied with the Pro White China Bristle Brush. The natural hog hair of this brush is for use in any oil-based coatings, including oil-based polyurethane. If your polyurethane was water-based, the WooPro 100% Nylon brushes would perform nicely. (Water-based polyurethane can pull at natural bristle and the natural bristle absorbs the water.)
