Hi Will, we're sorry to read your comments. But we do not understand your situation. First, did you contact the Yard Force Customer Care Center at support@merotecusa.com or 866-902-9690 for help? The YF20-RTT is self-propelled so there is no need to push it during operation unless tilling very soft or muddy dirt. The direct drive system works in forward and reverse. The wheels can be disengaged to push it into a storage building, this is described in the owner's manual. Every rear tine tiller on the market requires you to lift up on the tines to move it from place to place, there is no other way to do it with a rear tine tiller. Although the design of rear tine tillers are well balanced so lifting the tines off the ground is not difficult, it not lifting the machine off the ground, but basically rotating the machine on the axis of the wheels. Your comments about the operation would essentially be the same for any rear tine tiller. We would like to help you, please contact the Yard Force Customer Care Center at support@merotecusa.com or 866-902-9690.
