worked pretty good. just wish that the tines could go forward when moving forward so that it wouldn't trow the dirt out of the garden at the end of the row.

This tiller so far is excellent. The handle is only slightly flimsy. But, it is doing its job completely. While assembling I double checked the bolts already installed. It is indeed a one pull start, as long as you pay attention.

I’ve owned several tillers and this one seems to be the best , except the handle seems to be a little bit flimsy and it twist real easy. Tires seem to be a little small for loose dirt after tilling.

Poor engineering
Poor engineering , will not pull itself you will be having to push it along to keep it moving. Handles are made of thin tubing . You can see the entire handle flexing when you engage forward handle .There is no neutral position to push it in a building or shed the engine has to be running and you have to hold the tines off the ground to store it inside.This is no tiller you just walk behind and it does all the work. The tires will not pull it along ,it is constantly stuck. You have to keep pushing to keep it moving

Hi Will, we're sorry to read your comments. But we do not understand your situation. First, did you contact the Yard Force Customer Care Center at support@merotecusa.com or 866-902-9690 for help? The YF20-RTT is self-propelled so there is no need to push it during operation unless tilling very soft or muddy dirt. The direct drive system works in forward and reverse. The wheels can be disengaged to push it into a storage building, this is described in the owner's manual. Every rear tine tiller on the market requires you to lift up on the tines to move it from place to place, there is no other way to do it with a rear tine tiller. Although the design of rear tine tillers are well balanced so lifting the tines off the ground is not difficult, it not lifting the machine off the ground, but basically rotating the machine on the axis of the wheels. Your comments about the operation would essentially be the same for any rear tine tiller. It starts easy. It is hard to handle even in loose soil if you can man handle tiller it will really tear ground up. I hope I get to use it for a season then I'll know more

Handle is weak and flimsy. Pull rope handed came off with second pull. No neutral or fwd/rev with times turning. Returned and ordered the DR. DR is far superior and has all the options the Yard Force didn't for the same price.

20" tiller
Is a good machine, only rated 3stars because first thing i had to have a tube replaced in one of the tires.
Wasa fault from factory stem was mounted sideways in the rim an only took 30mins b4 it ruptured the stem.
Other than that it is very frugal on gas consumption and runs quiet.

I’ve used it for about 20hrs so far as of this review. It works well. Can handle the hard dry dirt. Easy to handle. Doesn’t beet you up. Engine starts right up. Only 2 gripes I have with this unit (which is a big one for me) is that if you see ANY type up tilt over 10-15 degrees the unit cuts off. The other is that the wheel base is wider than the tines. Both issues combined make it impossible to get any deeper than about 6 inches. If the company has any updates or solutions they would be much appreciated. And at that point I’d give a five star.

Great medium power tiller.
Works as advertised! Remember though, if you turn it up to 4krpm it may have more power but will void your warrantee, just sayin. Going for six tines next time.

Easy to start and does a good job on breaking new ground. Easy to assemble. The pins on tires are cheap and had to replace them on second use but overall a good product .
