This is one of the best locks I ever saw. Knows when you leave. Auto locks and unlocks by sensing your cell phone. Uses Siri or Alexa to work the lock. WiFi let’s you check the lock from anywhere. Lock is solid steel and typical of Yale high standards.

Installation and manual use is great. The WiFi and home connect worked well also. Only a couple minor bugs that aren’t a big issue. Occasionally the software says it is adding a new code but never finishes, but if I shut down app and restart it the code is there fine. The lock closed and open works well if you calibrate well-not at full end of movement. Also the door open/shut sensor works great also. Using the August connect and also through HomeKit. WiFi connection was easy and have had no connection issues - just make sure you connect to a 2G signal and not a 5G.

This is a great lock. Easy to install and fits to replace almost any existing deadbolt. It's attractive and works well. If you set it up to do so, it will auto unlock if you have your phone with you and get close to the door, great when you have your hands full. You can also assign codes to repair people or contractors remotely and receive alerts when they go in and out. The rub it getting it online. It has to be connected to a 2.4 ghz network and will not work properly if it is connected to a dual 2,4/5 ghz network. I also experienced a situation where the serial number for the wifi module included with the lock was different that what was actually in the box. Yalo phone tech support - on a Saturday no less - was outstanding! The rep and I walked through the set-up issues and then discovered the serial number issue. If they could make this lock connect to 5 ghz networks I'd give it five stars.

This product works really well as a remote access, it has been great for us as we have an Airbnb and this seamlessly connects to their website and automatically adds user codes with the correct schedule etc, setup was a bit of a complicated task but after initial setup it has been great

I am very happy with the lock. Love That I can lock/unlock it from anywhere. I can send temporary keys to friends. It was worth the money!!

Have 2 of theses locks. Is WiFi but still requires August hub for WiFi. Works with WiFi & Bluetooth. Have both Yale & August app. Don’t know if both are needed as they seem to be the same. Nothing I could find in instructions about apps. Also neithev app provides battery life reading. Have to use Alexa to obtain. Yale is the only lock I will use for remote format. They are great

This has been a great investment. It’s nice when I’m busy upstairs and can’t remotely unlock the door with my phone or Alexa. My only complaint is the app doesn’t update soon enough-somedays I’ve checked the app for when my wife has unlocked/locked the door and it won’t show at that time even though the door has been opened.

It doesn’t like it when temps drop below freezing and be sure deadbolt locks smoothly, any resistance confuses the calibration and makes august app useless til you pull the battery. Other than it works as intended

Really like that it links with Airbnb it automatically sends guest the code for there stay once they book instantly and makes there code only good for the time of there stay no worrying about changing the code once a guest leaves or making sure to give them a code before they come. Plus you can have your admin. code and others if you need that are permanent for cleaning crew or exterminators etc..

This lock has much better action than our previous Homekit Lock. Also, note the Key is Kwikset so we were able to key alike all our locks using the Yale Key as the master. It works with Homekit and I can now also ask Alexa if my door is locked/unlocked and she can tell. Setting up the wifi part was a bit confusing, there is a step where you take out batteries, then insert the module. Then you have to go front panel, enter setup mode via your master PIN, then hit #7 to activate the module. AFTER you do that then y ou can set up the wifi brick that plugs into the wall. These instructions were not 100% clear but figured out after a few minutes. Even though HomeKit can see the lock you have to invite each Person to the APP not PIN access so they can enable the home kit in the August app. The lock is very nice hardware seems very sturdy much better than our previous one. I would recommend this lock keep in mind we are only on day 2 give it some time maybe I'll come back and update. so far we love this lock. Just wanted to add to my review after using the lock for few weeks. So far this is the Best Door Lock I have ever used. Very quiet works smooth no jamming even has a sensor to tell when it's not closed. It opens when I walk up to it. WE Like this lock also works with Siri, Alexa, and Hey Google.

This is a great lock once setup. It was difficult getting the wireless hub setup as there were no instructions for that price of it. But I’m pretty tech literate so I was able to figure it out. Works and looks great. Integration with their app works great and better if you install the provided magnet. It can tell you if the door is open or closed, locked or unlocked. Alexa works seamless with it also. Great product so far for us. Can’t talk about the longevity yet.

i Love it. i already have two in my Airbnbs apartments. best purchase ever. it works great and works integrated with Arbnb app so it is a piece of mind. highly recommended

This lock is pretty amazing over all. Easy to install and comes with step by step manual on how to add and remove key codes. I use this for an investment rental property. No more making new keys when bad tenants move out. You just have to remove their key code access. I use this with the Ring door bell to give me that extra piece of mind. However there is one issue that I haven't had time to resolve and that's the option to master control from my phone. It doesn't seem to work. I tried following the steps and youtube as well but mine won't connect to allow remote access from phone.

I use this stand alone with no Alexa. Wifi connection allows remote administration of lock. Bought it for the Geo fencing hands free auto unlock which works flawlessly as long as your phone Bluetooth is on. Setup was a bit wonky. App Kept failing to find lock. Reinstalled app, repowered lock and worked fine. Simple but capable app. It has guest code “keys” you can give out that expire single use, or by time. Mine set to auto relock if unlocked after 5 mins. However, u should install provided (or any) magnet in the door frame so lockset knows if the door is ajar, and Not to throw the lock/deadbolt. Can mess up your trim if you slam door shut while bolt is thrown via auto Lock. Update I tried the magnet and it seems the one provided is just too small to work calibrate correctly. Instead I sunk a three-quarter inch diameter ceramic magnet x 1 inch long in a three-quarter inch hole in the door frame right at the height of the yale logo. Big chunky old-school magnet not neodium - (too much power). It calibrate beautifully it won’t throw the bolt until it’s almost completely latched. Pretty accurate. Then I change the time relock setting to “immediately relock” upon door close - works great when entering or leaving. One tap on keypad locks from outside or auto re-lock does it. App gives a rolling time stamped history of everything the lock has ever done. Easy install.

It’s a good smart lock - for the most part it functions as expected but the whole August + Yale story is like siblings with different parents who parent way different. I bought this for the Ring security integration only to find out this version doesn’t work with it - despite a PR saying in 2019 it’s on the way. Only the zwave model works and that doesn’t work with August. Since it’s WiFi connected you would think a web hook call to august would be all that’s needed but can’t find any service I can pull this off on. Lastly I’m a software engineer and it took me about 2 hours to get this configured - fragmented docs and apps from Yale and august make this product feel like a half baked pr stunt.

Almost returned this but glad I didn’t. Installed easily and setup to automatically lock. Now feel much more secure.

Needed a WiFi enabled lock for our STR. The Yale Assure lock met our requirement. Installation instructions were very good and the Yale mobile application is very easy to use. I recommend this lock

I ordered this lock 2 times through Home Depot and they were open boxes not new. The lock keypad was also loose to the touch.
