Blisters and bubbles
At $30/Gallon I thought that I was buying a primer that I could use over drywall with a fresh skim coat. Most of the walls are OK, but right in the middle of the center of the larges one is a 1 sq ft that area started producing large round blisters. The drywall was sanded, skim coated, and sanded again. It was done days prior and the walls were dry as a bone. If I had only read these reviews prior, I would have thought twice. It seems the issue is a lot more common.

Product was easy to apply and covered well. Did not like that Home Depot could not tint the white primer to match another brand of primer.

Waste of money
I started applying this over a dark paint sample I used on a wall a few weeks ago. Really poor adhesion & doesn't cover the dark paint worth a darn. I wondered if I was doing something wrong, then looked at recent reviews that had the same complaints. I wasted my money on this junk.

Oh no, not something we like to hear, Jim. To improve the hiding power of the topcoat, tint Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3 White Water Based Primer toward the topcoat color with up to 2 oz. (59 ml) of

This is my second quart. I have used it a lot and it does a great job. Two coats on bare drywall and then paint makes it look perfect.

this was a replacement for a messed up delivery was told there would be no charge for delivery but was charge $35 not right product was great

Won't cover wood
You will definitely have bleed through if you try to use this over wood. 3 coats in and still not covering.

Since bare wood is a more porous surface, an additional coat of Rust-Oleum Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3 Water-Based Primer may be needed to ensure full coverage. Since this is a water-based primer, this primer may not block all tannin types, and an oil-based primer may be better suited. For heavier tannin bleed, we recommend Rust-Oleum Zinsser Cover Stain Oil-Based Primer instead.

Worst painting experience of my life
Absolutely garbage product. The Home Depot expert swore it was the best product for the job. It went on uneven, started peeling right away with each subsequent brush stroke and in the end I was left with a drippy looking wall. I hoped at least that the paint I had chosen would cover it up but the Behr marquis wouldn’t stick to it! I painted a section and returned a half hour later and it looked like the paint was melting off the wall! The only good experience was that Home Depot replaced the garbage primer with a behr primer (and even that started dripping in spots).

Does not adhere to paneling well.
Tried this because the store was out of killz oil base primer. It states it bonds well to all surfaces without sanding, eventhough I sanded the doors it did not bond well. Created a mess because it looked like sweat on the doors. Had to take a sponge and wipe down the doors that I sprayed. I sprayed it by the way.
