Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there an appliance sale for Father's Day?

Let your dad know you care by finding him Father's Day gifts that fit his interests. Check out the savings at our Father's Day Sale, and get great deals on everything from patio furniture and tool storage to generators and riding lawn mowers. We've also got up to 40% off Milwaukee tools. These bargains run online and in-store from June 4–24 only, so don't miss them.

How can I prepare my home for summer?

Be certain your home is equipped for summertime temperatures by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. On your house's exterior, inspect roof shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that can let water in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If water gets in the cracks, you could be looking at trouble.

What kinds of moving boxes do you have?

Make moving or storage easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Restore electricity in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.

Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through an adjacent window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

What's the project at The Home Depot Kids Workshop this month?

Team up with your little ones to make this fun craft while supplies last. Don't forget to leave some time to race your new go-kart toy!
