Is there an appliance sale for Spring Black Friday?
The Home Depot Spring Black Friday Sale is back and better than ever. Save big on home decor and bath goods, including bathroom vanities. Proper storage and organization gives you spring cleaning freshness all year, and a new ceiling fan keeps air moving in your home as temps rise. Now is the time to start DIY projects by taking advantage of low prices on tools. You can embrace energy-efficient living with updated appliances, too. This spring sale runs from April 9th through 22nd, so remember to shop before it ends.
What do I do to prepare my home for flip-flopping spring temps?
Be confident your home is set for springtime weather changes by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. On the outside of your house, examine roof shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that could let water in. Keep gutters clear of debris to keep rain overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If water gets in the cracks, you might be looking at a problem.
Do you carry large moving boxes?
Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or hurricanes, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.
What benefits do doorbell cameras have?
Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole or window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
