Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there a grill sale for Memorial Day?

Prepare for The Home Depot Memorial Day Sale! Find big savings on washing machines and fridges, outdoor living accessories like grills, patio furniture, and outdoor cooking supplies, plus tools for all your DIY projects. Save up to 40% off select online bathroom items and select appliances. Check it out in-store or online from May 14th through May 27th.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temperatures?

Make certain your home is set for spring temperature swings by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your hardscaping. On your home's exterior, inspect roof shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that may let water in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. If water gets inside the cracks, you might be in for a headache.

What kinds of moving boxes do you carry?

Make your move easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window or peephole when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.

When is the June Home Depot Kids Workshop?

Head to our Kids Workshop from 9–noon on June 6, 2026. Introduce your children to the joys of building with this sweet pint-sized soccer field. Constructing this tiny soccer game, reminiscent of the full-size tables, is a great way to sharpen listening abilities, fine motor skills, and creativity. Team up with your little ones to make this fun craft while supplies last. Remember to leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
