What do I do to prepare my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Be confident your home is equipped for spring temperature swings by repairing or replacing faulty components of your home and hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. On the outside of your house, examine shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that may let water leak inside. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent excess water from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

Do you have moving boxes?

Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, hurricanes, severe thunderstorms, or blizzards, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

What benefits do doorbell cameras have?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

When is the June Kids Workshop?
