Does my store offer Express Delivery?
Express Delivery is a same-day service that delivers products and job site supplies straight from your store to your front door. Make sure your order is placed by 4 p.m. local time for delivery. Eligibility depends on local stock, driver availability, and item size. Set your local store in The Home Depot app or online to see if it's available. Qualifying items will show an Express Delivery tag both in your shopping cart and at checkout (excludes aerosols, custom mixed paint, and bulk orders). Additional delivery charges may apply for Express Delivery orders.
How can I prep my home for scorching summer temps?
Be confident your home is set for summer temperatures by replacing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. If moisture gets inside the cracks, you might be in for a headache. Check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. On the outside of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that could let water leak in. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent excess water from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.
What types of moving boxes do you have?
Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Is it good to have a generator at home?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados or severe thunderstorms, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, keep in mind that inverter generators cost more than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.
Do you carry wireless or wired doorbell cameras?
Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.
