Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does my store offer Express Delivery?

Select products arrive at top speed with Express Delivery, a same-day service that delivers directly from your store to your front door. Orders must be placed by 4 p.m. local time to ensure delivery. Your order's eligibility depends on item size, local stock, and driver availability. See if you can get Express Delivery when you set your local store in The Home Depot app or online. Qualifying items will show an Express Delivery tag in your cart and at checkout (excludes custom mixed paint, aerosols, and bulk orders). Express Delivery orders may be subject to additional delivery charges.

What do I do to prepare my home for scorching summer temps?

Be certain your home is equipped for summertime temperatures by repairing faulty components of your home and hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If moisture gets inside the cracks, you could be dealing with damage. On the outside of your home, inspect shingles or metal roofing for damage that may let water come in. Keep gutters clear of debris to keep rain overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

What kinds of moving boxes do you carry?

Make your move easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Restore power in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.

Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole or window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.

When is the free Kids Workshop this month?

Stop by the Kids Workshop to encourage future builders and craftspeople! Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this witch candy box. Constructing a brightly colored container is a great way to exercise fine motor skills, listening abilities, and creativity. This fun kids' project is happening on October 3rd, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.
