Does The Home Depot have back-to-school supplies for classrooms?
When you've gotten your classroom decor at the teacher store and just need the basics, come see us. From maintenance like office supplies to the fun stuff for art projects, we've got it. Writing utensils and Command hooks? Check. Hot glue sticks for glue guns? We have those, too. Find cleaning supplies, storage containers to keep it all organized, and more paper towels and tissues than you think you'll need. We love our teachers, so drop in to fill in the classroom supply gaps.
How can I prep my home for scorching summer temps?
Make certain your home is equipped for relentless summer weather by repairing or replacing faulty components of your hardscaping and home. On the exterior of your home, inspect roof shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that can let water come in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If water gets in the cracks, you could be in for a headache.
What types of moving boxes do you have?
Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?
Restore power in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.
Why should I get a doorbell camera?
Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through an adjacent window when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
What's the project for the free Kids Workshop in August?
Don't miss our Kids Workshop from 9–12 noon on August 1st. Introduce your children to the joys of building with this cool pint-sized rocket game. Building this wooden spaceship toy is a great way to sharpen listening abilities, creativity, and fine motor skills. Team up with your kids to make this quick craft while supplies last. Remember to leave some time to play with others!
