Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Are washing machines on sale for Father's Day at Home Depot?

This June, find Father's Day gifts that fit his interests. Check out the savings at our Father's Day Sale, and find great deals on everything from patio furniture and tool storage to generators and riding lawn mowers. We've also got up to 40% off Milwaukee tools. These bargains run online and in-store from June 4th to 24th, 2026, only, so don't miss them.

What home repairs should I make before summer storms hit?

Make certain your home is ready for summertime temps by replacing or repairing faulty components of your hardscaping. On the exterior of your home, inspect roof shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that may let water leak inside. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If moisture gets in the cracks, you might be dealing with damage.

Do you carry moving boxes?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Do I need a generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or hurricanes, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you have doorbell cameras?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.

What's this month's project for the free Kids Workshop?

Head to our Kids Workshop from 9 a.m. to noon on the Fourth of July. Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this cute pint-sized go-kart. Building this small wooden toy with wheels is a great way to encourage listening abilities, creativity, and fine motor skills. Team up with your little ones to make this fun craft while supplies last. The best part is pushing around your go-kart, so leave some time to play with others!
