What's part of the Garage Storage Sale?
Garage Storage Savings are here, so it's time to get shopping. From garage bundles to storage bins, we've got bargains on everything you need for a clean and neatly arranged garage. Shop the sales from June 22nd to August 18th, and make this the year you clean out the garage, basement, and shed.
What do I need for my teen's college dorm?
We've got your dorm essentials. Use moving boxes or storage containers to transport your belongings, and be ready for residual dirt with disinfecting wipes and cleaning supplies. Make your room your own with wall decals and area rugs. Bring a tub of spackling to fill old nail holes and Command adhesive hooks to hang string lights and wall art. Power strips and extension cords let you place table lamps, mini fridges, and countertop microwaves where you need them. If you didn't get a new school backpack yet, we've got those, too. Be prepared to head back to college with helpful products from your South Center Home Depot.
What home repairs should I make before summer storms hit?
Make certain your home is ready for summer temperatures by replacing or repairing faulty components of your hardscaping. On the outside of your house, inspect roof shingles or metal roofs for damage that may let water leak inside. Keep gutters functional and clear to keep rain overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. If moisture gets in the cracks, you could be looking at a problem.
What types of moving boxes do you have?
Make moving or storage easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.
Do I need a generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or hurricanes, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, remember that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.
What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through an adjacent window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
What's this month's project for the free Kids Workshop?
Don't miss our Kids Workshop on September 5th, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last. It's time to assemble a school bus organizer! Your little builder can put together their very own organizer for art supplies and small toys.
