How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?
Make certain your home is ready for spring temperature shifts by repairing or replacing faulty components of your hardscaping and home. On the outside of your home, examine shingles or metal roofs for damage that may let water seep in. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to winter weather. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. If moisture freezes inside the crevices, you could be looking at trouble.
What types of moving boxes do you have?
Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Is it good to have a generator at home?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or hurricanes, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, remember that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.
Why should I get a doorbell camera?
Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
