Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What Father's Day Deals does The Home Depot have in 2026?

The Home Depot Father's Day Sale is coming up, so it's time to get shopping for Father's Day gifts that your dad will love. From traditional gifts like tool storage, tools, and outdoor power equipment, to practical gifts like riding lawn mowers, garage storage, and generators, we've got Father's Day deals on all the presents he can't wait to receive. Shop the sales online or in-store from June 4–24, and make Dad proud of the bargains you found.

What do I do to prepare my home for scorching summer temps?

Be confident your home is equipped for relentless summer weather by replacing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. If moisture gets in the crevices, you could be looking at trouble. Check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On your home's exterior, inspect shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that might let water in. Keep gutters clear of debris to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.

Do you carry small moving boxes?

Make moving or storage easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or tornados, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, remember that inverter generators are more expensive than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.

What benefits do doorbell cameras have?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

What's the project for the free Kids Workshop?

Head to the Kids Workshop from 9–noon on the 4th of July. Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this cool pint-sized go-kart toy. Building this tiny go-kart is a great way to encourage fine motor skills, creativity, and listening abilities. Team up with your little ones to make this quick craft while supplies last. The best part is playing with your go-kart, so leave some time to race others!
