Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does my store offer Express Delivery?

Select products arrive lightning-fast with Express Delivery, a same-day service that delivers directly from your store to your door. Orders must be placed by 4 p.m. local time to ensure delivery. Eligibility depends on item size, local stock, and driver availability. See if you can get Express Delivery when you set your local store in The Home Depot app or online. Qualifying items will show an Express Delivery tag in your cart and during checkout (excludes custom mixed paint, aerosols, and bulk orders). Additional delivery charges may apply for Express Delivery orders.

What do I do to prepare my home for scorching summer temps?

Be confident your home is set for summertime temps by repairing or replacing faulty components of your home. On the outside of your house, examine shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that may let water come in. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent excess water from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If moisture gets in the cracks, you might be looking at a problem.

Do you carry large moving boxes?

Make your move easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Restore power in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When browsing generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.

Do you have doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window or peephole when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

Is there a Halloween craft for the October Kids Workshop?

Don't miss our Kids Workshop from 9 a.m. to noon on October 3rd. Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this cute pint-sized witch candy box. Assembling this organizer is a great way to encourage creativity, fine motor skills, and listening abilities. Team up with your kids to make this fun craft while supplies last.
