Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When is The Home Depot Father's Day Sale in 2026?

Shop now for Father's Day gifts that Dad will love. The Home Depot Father's Day Sale runs June 4th to June 24th in-store or online, and you can save on garage storage, generators, riding lawn mowers, outdoor power equipment, and more. We've got Father's Day deals on all the presents you'll need to make his day.

How can I prepare my home for summer temperatures?

Make certain your home is ready for relentless summer weather by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. If water gets inside the crevices, you might be in for a headache. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. On the exterior of your home, inspect metal roofs or roof shingles for damage or rust that could let water in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're badly weathered.

What types of moving boxes do you have?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Restore electricity in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When exploring different generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.

What's the project at The Home Depot Kids Workshop this month?

Don't miss our Kids Workshop from 9–noon on 7/4/2026. Introduce your children to the joys of building with this cool pint-sized go-kart. Building this small wooden toy with wheels is a great way to encourage creativity, listening abilities, and fine motor skills. Team up with your little ones to make this quick craft while supplies last. Don't forget to leave some time to race your new go-kart toy!
