What additional precautions is The Home Depot taking in light of COVID-19?
The adjusted hours give stores the ability to staff appropriately and provide additional time to restock shelves and perform cleaning. As part of our normal practice, our stores and other facilities are cleaned and sanitized daily. Following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we've increased the frequency of cleaning and general hygiene maintenance in stores and other locations. We've also stepped up our efforts to disinfect high-traffic and high-touch areas like self-checkout, door handles, and bathrooms, as well as posting signage about handwashing and other preventative actions.
We're promoting social distancing in our stores and distribution centers, which includes stores limiting the number of customers inside at any given time. In addition to training our associates on social distancing, we've placed distancing markers at some of our checkout counters and are making overhead announcements on our store PA systems asking customers to practice social distancing.

It’s an okay store. You find what you want if they have it and get out. Some employees are nice, not all. I have rented machines several times from this store and haven’t gotten my refund back. I’m still waiting to obtain my refund from a machine I rented. My recommendation if they’re system in down go rent somewhere else, because you are not getting the difference back.

As I stood in line to pay, the same female employee took care of my checkout. She was very friendly and courteous. At first she seemed a little shy explaining the details of the survey. EGO sent me to this location for warranty repair on my lawn mower. When I dropped off the mower, ...

EGO sent me to this location for warranty repair on my lawn mower. When I dropped off the mower, Gloria advised me not to leave the battery since it would likely “walk off.” I followed her advice, paid the $18.95 deposit, and returned home. I then received a call from the service department hours later saying they could not service my mower without the charger and the battery. I had to make a return trip to the store to bring in those items. Fast forward 3 weeks later and I get a call to pickup the mower. I show up 30 minutes later. I am told the total was $48.95 to replace a cable, and minus my $18.95 deposit, a $30 balance was due. I was told by EGO that the work would be 100% covered by warranty. After arguing, I requested to speak to the manager, Jesse. After waiting more than 20 minutes, Jesse couldn’t be bothered to come over and sent Ariel instead. I got nothing but attitude and was still charged to take my mower. The person who did the repair, Rodolpho, did the repair wrong. The speed control is installed backwards. The machine was not put back together correctly and when I pointed this out, they said that Rodolpho was gone for the day and I’d have to leave the mower there for it to be corrected. I decided due to the quality of work and lack of any customer service to just take the mower and pay. I will be following up with EGO to complain about the lack of knowledge your repair folks showed about their product and the lack of service and skill.
