How do I fix drafty windows?
If your windows need replacing but you need to make it through the winter first, seal them up tight for best results. Caulk the gaps well, then seal the entire window using a window insulation kit with plastic film and a heat gun. Add fabric threshold snakes along the bottom for extra warmth. Finally, trap and warm the air around the windows with blackout curtains or heavy drapes. Replace the windows as soon as possible.
What are good wintertime DIY projects?
In colder climates, it's challenging to work outdoors. However, a chilly day that's above freezing may be a good time to rake leaves or give the mulch in the garden a stir. Some time cleaning and organizing the shed, garage, or basement will pay off when the weather warms. You won't have to replace lost power tools with new ones because you can find what you've got. Polish up the tools, clean the rest of the house with cleaning tools, and you'll be ready when spring has sprung.
How can chainsaws help with winter and spring yard cleanup?
Use chainsaws to remove dead or broken branches from trees. Trimming damaged wood keeps your trees healthier. Oil up your Dewalt chainsaw before using it, and swap out any rusted or dull chains. Please leave tree removal to the professionals. Trees already on the ground can be cut into smaller pieces and hauled away.

Treated Like Family
The employees at the Cicero Store treat me so nicely. I have been going there for over 20 years. I always have been able to get help with projects that I am completing around the house.

    Great Frontline Employees!
The amount patience, community teamwork and help that was provided to me was valuable. Gloria, Maria & Ed provided all of this and more: even after their shift ended, Gloria remained at the cashier helping me with my order, Maria stood on the phone after her shift to assist with questions and answers, Ed was so kind to also stay after his shift to assist in making sure the order does go through and is ready for pickup the next morning. They all were fantastic, I truly appreciate their service!

Front end is a free for all
After standing in line for too long, a rude cashier decided to make me and people standing behind me go stand at the line that had been forming from the other direction behind people who came after we did. No apology, no help. There were five cashiers standing around at the time, one on a register and nobody guiding the line where they want it to be. Store manager Yanni Rivera had me go get my cart from the other side of the store and bring it to returns where they would check me out. WAY too much time, too much frustration.
          Great place for household needs

            Excellent Customer Service
Leenice (at Checkout) escorted me to the correct aisle and Abraham (in Light Bulbs) scoured the stock on a high shelf to find the goods I was seeking. Job VERY WELL DONE for the both of them (and same again to the MOD Eme for very kindly telling me how to make them known to HQ. All three of them deserve a Job VERY WELL DONE accolade!).

                Found what I needed
Bought potting soil and seeds to get a kick start for my garden. I hope to find more seed varieties the sooner it gets warmer.

                  Horrible Customer Service
approached 5 different associates for a few things and they all had bad attitudes and no sense of what helping out customers means. An associate refused to let me into the public restroom. Another sent me to 3 different wrong aisle for an item. 3 others where too busy chatting to offer any type of assistance.
