Today I returned some perfectly good items (unopened) to my local Home Depot store. The installation would have cost more than the products, so I've changed my plan. That said, I was helped tremendously by Mo, out in the parking lot who willingly helped me get a flat cart and wrestled the items out of my truck for me then, took them to the return counter with me. At the counter, Jason quickly and efficiently asked a few questions and managed to return the purchase price to my Home Depot card. Thanks to both of these guys for making my visit a "non-issue" -- I'll be back soon!

The Manager Morgan was very helpful with an offer I needed assistance with. He also helped me place an on line order I was struggling with. The paint staff were extremely helpful, as well as the tile staff. Remarkable with matching grout to the tile! The cashier however was shaming and rude regarding my 10% offer. it's really too bad. The entire experience had been so helpful up to that part and I am sent out the door on a very sour note. I would still recommend this store...especially in the departments I mentioned.

Home Depot always has what I need and always has someone available to help me find it. Returns are easy and the self checkout works really well.

During my visit there was only one cashier available and there were 5 customers in line. One of the people on the self checkout was needing assistance and there was no one readily available to help. My feeling is if you don't make it easy to pay, then I do not shop in your store unless my other options have not worked.

Excellent help in the lumber department to consider lumber options for a deck project. Another associate provided unsolicited help to load car. This was awesome!

Took a while to find someone to help make a cut in lumber. Three other customers waiting too. Had to go to the other side of the store to find someone after no one came by for 10 minutes of waiting.

I just bought a new home and needed a washer and dryer. I'd been researching online and knew what I wanted, but was dreading going into the store to make the purchase. I debated purchasing online, but I needed to see the product in person and this was my first time buying a gas appliance, so I wasn't sure I should attempt online ordering. Past experiences at HD have yielded long wait times to get to a sales associate. But I went in on July 4th and sailed right to the applicance department. Met Bruce, who assisted me with my purchase. He was extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and answered all my questions. I was in and out of the store in about 20 minutes - record time! I have since recommended not only Home Depot, but Bruce specifically, to a friend who also needs appliances. Awesome customer service!

The store always has exactly what I need, I'm usually in a hurry so those giant Menards stores are out of the question. Self check out stations are always nice, generally don't have to wait in line. Assosciates are usually easy (except if you need keys made, that seems to be a struggle) to find should you have questions and all have been very knowledgeable. Overall, fantastic store & staff, well maintained.

Greg at the Pro Desk helped me buy a better quality shingle at a lower cost than Menard's lowest priced architectural shingle! I had to drive back to Menards and cancel my purchase, but it was worth the hundreds I saved for higher quality GAF shingles. A better product at a lower price? I didn't expect that today... that's for certain.

The Eden Prairie Paint department is the Best! I had the best experience at this store. I have been in many stores but will bring my business there.

Came in with a blank slate on a new landscaping project. I spent over an hour browsing through their great selection of perennials, and found many species that I had found in my research to be cold hardy. My new terrace looks beautiful, and I have every expectation of it surviving our ultra-cold winters on the North Shore.

Rene in appliances was a star! Super helpful in placing my order for a new washer & dryer set. Insisted on giving information on the next comparable model so I would know I was getting all the exact features I wanted. Explained all options clearly and had great patience with my 6 yr old! I would happily refer others to Rene for help with major appliances. Thank you Rene!

Not only was it easy to find a beautiful zucchini plant, but the price was about half what I expected it to be, check out was fast, and I look forward to visiting the store again!

I need to find a product and a sales associate looked it up immediately. He instructed right to the isle and shelf. I found the product easily. I checked out and the associate was polite and helpful.

Marcy was very rude. She could not find the UPC code and asked, What am I supposed to do with this? I turned the item over, showed her the UPC, she said OK. All the items except a couple were found on my HD Com card. She gave me a store credit and said she could not credit the card. I asked her why, she said that's the way it is. I asked her if someone else could look at the transaction, she stated, "No" I asked her to re-ring it, she said she did not have time to do that. Now, I have a store credit. When I purchase items on the HD or other card, it is easy to find the receipt. I can not do that with a store credit. I can track purchases and returns on the HD Comm Invoice. Now I can not do that because I have to use the store credit. Because this person did not process the receipt correctly and was not willing to re-ring the return, I have to spend much more time accounting for future purchases and properly billing my customers. I have never encountered a person so stubborn and unwilling to acknowledge they were wrong at a Home Depot. There are other HD choices in the area and other store (Menards, Lowes) stores in the area.

I was impressed that two separate employees knew exactly where products were located that were not in their department.
