This store is absolutely amazing. Saw a garden display in the front and Mario cut the lumber, gathered the blocks and helped design one for my space. Richard helped with plant/veggie selection and soil, Sky was/is always so friendly and quick at checkout. Then...Dave noticed how large and heavy my purchase was and loaded my car. Talk about full service Way to Go, hope home depot realizes what great employees they have Thanks

Hard to find help, associate who did help was very rude and inept. Got home to find products were not right- a waste of time and money.

I live very close to your Encinitas store and am there probably 3-4 days/week. Everyone there is very nice and I appreciate that they hire people with disabilities. The check out girls are always very nice and work hard to get me out quickly.This store is always packed with customers,so they must be doing something right. Keep up the good work and look into the plywood thing as you will notice it needs to be better. Thanks, Mike

The associates were readily available to ask questions. I had a plumbing emergency and found what I needed!

Ask for Neil in paint department. He knows his stuff and he was so patient with me while I had my newborn son. He knew everything I would need to get two bedrooms painted quickly and easily and smiled and was so kind to me. The paint he recommended was perfect and he was so fast to get it ready!

It is always a positive experience at the Encinitas Home Depot! Great selection and prices and friendly staff! I am doing a remodel and found just about everything I need there! The garden department is also great!

Workers go out of their way to walk you to the correct aisles/ department and will even install parts ie into my broken lamp switch if you request it. I couldn't have done it myself and I was able to have light when I got home rather than just buy a piece and have to figure it out myself as to how to install it.

Excellent customer service!!! Bought paint and baseboards and need assistance in both departments. The employees were very helpful

The store has products I use, but the staff leaves a lot to be desired. Only a couple of the permanent employees really know what's important

Not clean, product always being moved OR DISCONTINUED. As contractors this costs us money. The floor employees especially in the plumbing department are either not there, hard of hearing or don't have a clue. I will go to HD ONLY if really necessary, otherwise I avoid it. I live 5 min from HD, I will drive to Lowes in order to avoid going to HD. The North end of the Parking lot is not secure and an open air toilet. The security there is non existent. Nothing is safe in our vehicles. If you need lot assistance look for a young guy by the name of "Jim" he is the only one out there that really works.

Best part of doing projects is getting it done! Second best part is getting the right parts the first time and in a friendly helpful environment. The Encinitas Store is filled with professionals in most fields to assist us with part selection and even how to's. It is a pleasure to go to this store. Enjoy!

Needed a refrigerator, but Home Depot could not deliver till Saturday, July 9, so bought it at Lowe's (same price) because they were able to deliver it July 6th.

APPLAUSE: On June 20, 2016 to my surprised delight, I entered a cool, comfortable, air-conditioned store! This is the first time I have ever been comfortable shopping in Home Depot in the summer. Even when it's only a little warm outside, your Carlsbad store is typically hotter and/or more humid than the outdoors! Our hearts would go out to your store employees who had to consistently work in such uncomfortable conditions. This practice (not properly air-conditioning the store in the summer) has shortened my time shopping as it is just too uncomfortable. I typically run in and out of the store as fast as I can. On June 20, 2016, I stayed, browsed for an hour and ended up purchasing more items as a direct result of shopping in a comfortable environment. I remarked to the cashier how cool and nice the store was, mentioned it's usually just too hot, etc. She shared with me that your CA Store does have control over the AC, and that an Alabama store controls the AC for California. Is that true because that does not make sense? Hope you keep up the AC going because it was delightful on June 20, 2016. I am sure I am not the only customer whose shopping excursion was cut short due to the heat of your store! Suggestions for Improvement: It is hard sometimes to find an Associate when you have questions. However, when you do track someone down, most of your employees are very helpful. Would like to see a larger variety of finishes and selection of in-stock door hardware (in particular "Baldwin") and more choices of quality outdoor lighting sets. Indoor and some outdoor plants often don't look particularly healthy (quality or care issue?).

I shop at this store 7-10 times per week, often more, based on its proximity to me and my clients. My business, JerrysHomeRepair.com, requires that I have the right products available at the right price and always in stock. I return many things that I either bought in surplus or incorrectly and am always treated like a king when in returns: no guilt, shame or questions that offend me. I am extremely happy to call this store My Home Store for all things related to my business. Your store, employees and attitude make this my home away from home.

Always have a great experience here. Store associates are friendly and very helpful. Can always find someone to answer a question. If they don't know they will find someone that does. You can also easily return something if you don't use it or it is damaged.

Other customers bringing their dogs with them to shop here, Home Depot is a DIY hardware, lumber, etc. facility, not a kennel, it's difficult shopping when you have to be concerned with dogs running around, and some are doing just that, running around, unattended, off leash. My other issue is those who pull up and park right in front of the store in the fire lane, then go into the HD to shop. I can see customers parking here to load their vehicle, but on more than several occasions I have seen vehicles parked there as I entered the store only to still be there when I exited after doing my shopping. With the exception of these two issues, I recommend the Encinitas store to many that travel extra distance to shop there. Cashiers, excellent, garden center, top notch, customer service, wonderful. Keep up the good work.

I called this Home Depot with a problem and held for a long time. My problem was not resolved. I called back a different way and got Corey Sydes. He was awesome and apologetic for the time I had to hold on the phone. He told me to come in to see him and he'd take care of my problem and he did. He remembered my call and was outstanding in his customer service.

GREAT STORE, GREAT PRODUCT, RESONABLE PRICED. PAINT DESK NEEDS EMPROVEMENT. LONG WAITS TO GET HELP THOUG BUT PAINT ASSOCIATES ARE NICE AND HELPFUL AND DO AS GOO AS THEY CAN.

The store is kept clean and well lighted with plenty of help on hand to find things. This store is a great asset to the City of Encinitas.

All associates greet you with a smile and are extremely helpful. They go above and beyond in solving any of my needs. Store manager(s) are hands-on and always go the extra mile to ensure you are satisfied with your purchase.
