“Jim” (in plumbing aisle and on phone) was terrific helping me confirm stock on a specific water heater and two helpful “returns” personnel, one lady with more experience and a newer employee staff member that needed a little more help and guidance from her did a fabulous job processing a Rheem warranty 40 Gal Premium water heater replacement. They worked well as a team together to serve my needs effectively and efficiently.

We purchase everything for our remodels from the Home Depot!

We are going through a major remodel and if we are short of anything, we just drive to their Home Depot and find the item we need. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great job keeping the store filled with every you need for construction.

This has never been my favorite Home Depot! However lately it’s really gotten better. Employees way more helpful. Store was cleaner & well stocked. Way better than in the past.

I had the trifecta with the possibility to ruin your day - a return , a purchase and a pickup of an on-line order. All 3 were smooth. This may be politically incorrect , but it seems like HD hires older experienced employees who really know what they are doing. One of the items I was buying were new window blinds for a rental. I brought the old blinds with me so they would be cut to match ...but forgot to measure the height. OG who cut them for me knew to count the slats to determine how long I needed them to be. While cutting blind #5 , the machine jammed. I thought oh **** , now I'm going to have to go and come back another day. Nope dude opened the machine , found the problem and re-set it in under 3 minutes. Awesome.

Celina in garden was extremely helpful, accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly. Excellent experience purchasing 16 large hedges. Celina went out of her way above and beyond to help us with our order. It’s very nice to see such amazing hard work and customer service in this day and age. Celina takes ALOT of pride in her job and should definitely be acknowledged by Managment for her dedicated hard work. We will always shop for all our landscape and garden needs at the Encinitas Home Depot garden center because of our experience with gems like Celina!

Let's see...a long line of self-checkout kiosks, cameras filming you while you checkout because, you know...'trust by verify', and affable but intrusive/annoying/overly helpful orange aprons ready to pounce. This isn't The Home Depot anymore. It's Target.

We drive an extra 25 miles to the Encinitas garden center. By far the best in all of San Diego. Wish others would have the same level of plants.

They always have what I need. Items I’ve bought there; garden hoe, gardening knife tool, garden box, large under sink tray, Quick Dam, packing tape. I like the atmosphere of the store and the smell of the lumber. The employees are helpful and nice. It’s easy to use the app to find exactly where your item is in the store.

Back to Home Depot for another haul of large landscaping plants. They have a great selection of healthy plants, well-rooted, but not root-bound. The customer service is stellar at this store, too.

Now this Home Depot only has self checkout lines and they only had five out of the eight open, and the line was backed up…really???

I usually don’t shop Encinitas Home Depot I live very close to it but yet I prefer going to Vista Melrose store bigger parking lot more variety less migrant people

The only beef I have with the Home Depot is that they move items to different locations. The only reason this is done is for the purpose of you buying something else that you didn’t come for. Am I wrong.

Everybody was so nice. I was wearing a Whole Foods shirt because I work there and one customer we were employee said Whole Foods do you need any help which is pretty cool

I needed some replacement bulbs for the light fixtures underneath my kitchen cabinets. An associate helped me find the type of bulbs that I needed. Unfortunately, I chose the LED option for these bulbs as opposed to the old-style halogen bulbs. These LED bulbs did not work out, they noticebly flickered while on and were essentially worse than not having the bulbs, since I couldn't stand using them. I went to another store and bought the old-style bulbs, which were exactly what I needed. Oh well, another $40 lesson learned, i.e. stick with the old bulbs.

I was looking for a specific item and the sales associate was very helpful and polite.

I would like a computer in the store that I could use to look up where specific things are in the store. Even a map would help especially for large stores like the one off of Balboa in San Diego.

My projects are pretty small but I've found HD to offer all the expected items and things I'm unfamiliar with that may be adapted to my needs. The Encinitas store is conveniently located along a major street with many other stores I regularly shop at. This makes it very convenient to make many stops in one area saving me time and gas. I appreciate that HD keeps the restrooms very clean and well-stocked with paper towels, soap and tp.

Hardware Bill took the time to find replacement screws to repair the gate to my back yard. He also sawed the wood I needed to construct a small bench to protect my new plastic sprinkler valves.
