What additional precautions is The Home Depot taking in light of COVID-19?
As part of our normal practice, our stores and other facilities are cleaned and sanitized daily. Regular business shopper
I am in a number of Home Depot stores in the Rochester area on a weekly basis. My experiences are generally favorable at all of the stores. My main complaint is that each store is set up differently so I find myself wandering around looking for the regular items that I purchase. Also, the store associates - all very knowledgeable and all extremely helpful - work very hard to assist a very large number of customers. Overall I think the stores do a very good job and the Henrietta store in particular is my preferred store.

This was the most friendly Home Depot I have ever been to. We usually go to Victor or Penfield, but we were in the area. Camille has an encyclopedic knowledge of paint, and Melissa the manager would bend over backwards to make the customer happy. We bought paint and paint accessories and lawn bags but I wish we needed to buy more this trip! I will only shop here from now on’

It was a pleasure doing business at this store
I was very pleased with my experience at The Henrietta store. Joe in plumbing was very helpful with a warrenteed sump pump that I had purchesed 3 years earlier. He asked me if I needed assistance with anything first. Before I had a chance to ask for help. This, I thought was very proffesional and definatly the way things should be. He set up a replacement sump pump for my returned one right away. While I was waiting at the courteousy desk I noticed a brand new stove on sale, and asked Joe about it. Again he set me up with purchasing it and got other associates to assist in loading it in my vehicle. I was totally pleased with my experience at this store. Kind Regards, Ken R. Geneseo,ny.

Terrible Service
I will never enter this store again. Asked for assistance and it was an inconvenience for them. Check out girl was friendly and nice and asked if I needed help. I did need it and waited over 15 minutes and no one showed. I loaded an entire vanity 3 piece set by myself. In my youth; no issues. Having had back surgery, 50 years old, and one of the hottest days of the year, I DO CARE!!!

This store sells 'stress relief' with every tranaction.
It seems like every department in this store has someone who is an expert, or very close to being one as it relates to product knowledge. It's amazing what a visit to this store and a little YouTube can do for the average DIYer.

Jonathan who is now in appliances, but always seems to be everywhere I need help, went above and beyond to meet my request and to help work out an issue i was having, there is also a nice lady in appliances that was helping me while waiting for Jonathan today to finish with a customer and she herself was mighty helpful I just forgot her name... needless to say I had a discrepancy with price and Jonathan took charge and got it straightend out with no questions and the manager who helped him was also extremely helpful so id honestly have to say even though every experience there is usually great this one topped the cake! It began with questions last week and Jonathan basically sold me on 6 appliances but I wasn't ready to pull the string but he told me he was off the next couple days and if I wanted to discuss more with him I can come back this weekend... i waited till this weekend and very glad I did, the amount of patience he had with me was such a relief and then to be as knowledge and honest about the entire experience really gave me the satisfaction one would be looking for in my shoes... thanks Jonathan for all the help keep up the great work!!

Bathroom Remodel
Normally associates are readily available. On this date it was next to impossible to find someone to help us. I finally grabbed a gentleman who was just returning from lunch. When I did find this gentleman he was quick to respond, very knowledgable and very helpful.

A great experience all around
Our associate, Al, was just great. He guided us through the special offer program for the fridges' and gave us the proper price and savings information which led us to purchase the product. Additionally, he informed us about further protection plans and other products which would be useful.

This store doesn't move things around which makes it difficult to find items. Home Depot has ordered items for me before when the item wasn't in the store. I appreciate the great customer service I receive.

AT LAST, I GOT THE HELP AND ADVIICE I HAD BEEN LOOKING FOR AT OTHER LOCATIONS
Being a single elderly woman, these stores are far out of my element. Prior to this visit I had purchased paint at 2 other stores and neither met my expectations, so I was getting very discouraged.
However the HD associates finally, after many attempts, got just the color I had been looking for since the beginning of my search. Bravo!!!!!

They take the time to talk to you, discuss your project and make sure you have the items you need and then will walk with you to make sure you get those items, rather than just pointing you in the direction and then you are on your own. Store was clean and all the staff were polite and friendly.
