I’ve shopped H.D. for years without problems. I’ve had great service from all employees, until today. It was the worst interaction I’ve had. I bought 30 bags of mulch and as I was loading an employee yelled at me that I need to move my truck because he has work to do and doesn’t have time for this. He turned around walked away mumbling something under his breath. Is it fair for me to not want to go back? Even though my years of shopping there have been flawless. It’s amazing what one bad experience with one terrible employee can do.

Frank in the lumber department is outstanding, cut my plywood to right size. It made the task in hand much much easier.

Cashier rude, unfriendly, and unhelpful. Asked what she needed to see for military discount and were told we should have done that before coming to register and holding up line. No one else was in line. Then told it’s the app. Held up phone with app open and were told I can’t help you with your personal device. Husband said then how do I get discount. Again told we should have done that before coming to register. Now 2 people are in line behind us. Husband again asked how to get discount. She replied I could call manager. Call. She picked up phone (I never heard her say a word) then she types into computer and discount appears. She again tells us we should have done that before coming to register and apologizes to man behind us. We were purchasing a vanity and bathroom accessories costing over $300 so it was a $30 discount. We have shopped other Home Depots and never been treated so badly. This is store closest to our home, but will never enter again. I am sure many veterans are experiencing some problems since they no longer accept military ids as proof of service. There is no excuse for being rude and unwilling to help as we all adjust to this new procedure.

Customer service is excellent throughout the store. I love shopping here.

Everyone was available and helpful today

The store is very conveniently located with ample parking. Finding the stuff is easy because of large signs on each aisle. Sometime it took me only 10minutes to grab what I wanted and get back to my car.

I visited the hurstbourne lane location in Louisville Kentucky today to exchange a propane tank with a faulty valve. When I attempted to return it, the people I spoke with weren't sure if I could and suggested I return to the store I previously exchanged it at. The store is across town and I really did not want to do this. After the young lady talked to multiple people she directed me to Tia at the self check out. I explained my issue to Tia and she knew what to do. She directed me back to the return counter and told me to have them call her if there was an issue. One of the young ladies at the counter didn't understand so I had to have them call Tia. Tia told her what she needed to do and within a few seconds I had a refund and was on my way to purchase a new tank. Today is my wedding anniversary and with the weather being nice, I decided to grill some steaks and enjoy the day. Nothing had gone right and the propane tank was the icing on the cake. Tia saved my day and I truly appreciate her. I was a retail manager for 16 years and would have killed for a girl like this. Whenever I had an experience like this I have them a card with my number and told them to call me if they wanted to work for someone who appreciated them. No one mentioned being unappreciated that I spoke to and that isn't the point of my statement. People like Tia a gems in retail. She demonstrated excellent multitasking skills all while solving my problem. She was polite and professional the entire time. I hope she is treated well and compensated appropriately because people are changing jobs faster than ever and I'm sure I wasn't the only one handing out cards.

I extremely recommend that you shop with Home Depot for all your houseware and hardware home needs!! Great customer service and quality shopping

I bought a product that had a missing part even though the box look undisturbed and original. LeAnn, the head cashier, was all over it and got the problem solved right away with a replacement.

Our refrigerator died two days before Christmas and the model we want to replace it is on backorder for 3 months. Found temporary solution of two small units, one for cooling and one for freezing, to last until new unit is available.

2 or 3 employees randomly came up to me and asked if I needed assistance with anything. I normally need help and end up walking the entire store trying to track someone down at other home improvement stores. It was such a refreshing experience!

In a world where customer service is disappearing faster than the items on the shelves, I had to give this quick review and shout out to a customer service employee at our local Home Depot. Thanks so much Sara Ann for your over the top customer service. I so much appreciate your help , Dan

Before you buy elsewhere, you owe it to yourself a favor a give Home Depot a try . . . ask for Danielle Marsh; she's wonderful!!!!

Even though we have used Home Depot multiple times for home improvement projects this was by far our best experience ever!

Bought this kwik set lock to replace one on door from house to garage. Went to several stores looking for a brass one. Only Home Depot had the brass in a quick set !

The store had 4 plastic storage containers on the shelf, but no lids.

The staff was friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Don in the Millworks lumber department was able to meet and exceed my expectations in assisting me with my building supply needs.

Store is always clean and location is convenient. Prices are higher than other stores and sections are limited..have to order online for most products to be delivered to my store location.

I bought a roll of screen, it supposed to have 25ft by 72inches, When I used it it just finished at 10 ft!!!, I took the stuff to the store and they said they can not do anything about it Terrible customer service, I would have a tape measure with me ad open a roll in the store and measure it before I pick it to make sure it is correct

I'm in this store weekly...sometimes daily. Super friendly staff and always has what I'm looking for or will offer to ship it to my home.
