What additional precautions is The Home Depot taking in light of COVID-19?
The adjusted hours give stores the ability to staff appropriately and provide additional time to restock shelves and perform cleaning. As part of our normal practice, our stores and other facilities are cleaned and sanitized daily. Following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we've increased the frequency of cleaning and general hygiene maintenance in stores and other locations. We've also stepped up our efforts to disinfect high-traffic and high-touch areas like self-checkout, door handles, and bathrooms, as well as posting signage about handwashing and other preventative actions.
We're promoting social distancing in our stores and distribution centers, which includes stores limiting the number of customers inside at any given time. In addition to training our associates on social distancing, we've placed distancing markers at some of our checkout counters and are making overhead announcements on our store PA systems asking customers to practice social distancing.

I don't know what's going on with this store. Just got yelled at for no reason. All I was trying to do was process a return, called ahead of time to let them know what i was bringing in and if I could return it to exchange it for a lesser product. I'm trying to build a workbench, but I bought hardwood cherry oak for that, and I should have gotten construction soft pine . So I was just gona exchange it. Did what they told me to do, walked in with the wood. Then when i got to front pro desk with my oak wood boards this guy in a cowboy hat, think he was some guy that's training the employees, started yelling at me. He kept making it seem like I was hopeless when I was holding my receipt, and he wouldn't let me talk. I was about to crack his head open he just kept yelling at ME OVER AND OVER and getting extremely upset over nothing. Anyways. I mest up aparently by going through the wrong entrance and not getting a ticket from one of the ladies up in the front. Obviously the guy thought I stole the wood. I've spent 20 grand at this store and they treat me like some Rat. this store got issues

Horrible horrible experience from the minute I stepped out of the car. #1 I had to walk out in a hot parking lot for 10 minutes to try to find a divider Card to put the lumber in. #2 I asked someone working in the lumber department where are the thin wood panels he sent me all the way to aisle 27 I believe which has no word on that aisle. I needed several 4 x 8 sheets of that all they had was one end it was all the way up at the top I couldn’t find anyone to help me take it down so I had to climb up on the thing and get it myself. #3 They Ran out of Henry’s bright white roof sealer. #4 The thing that upset me the most was check out. When it was my turn to check out the cashier just walked away for a couple of minutes and then came back and he had a look on his face that I was annoying him. He was extremely slow it took him much longer than it needed to to sign onto his register. Never had any verbal exchange with him whatsoever he didn’t say hi anything. After I swiped my card and paid it didn’t even bag my items I asked him for a bag he just placed it on my card turned around and walked away. So you need electric Cashard Jorge Know that if he doesn’t want to be there working there’s plenty of other people out there needing a job that can do it better.
