How do I check my Home Depot gift card balance?
The Home Depot gift cards are a very popular choice during the Holiday season with givers and doers. If you are a recipient you can check your gift card balance online or visit your local Home Depot store and ask a cashier to check the balance for you. Our gift cards can be redeemed in-store or used to make purchases online with no additional fees.

What additional precautions is The Home Depot taking in light of COVID-19?
The adjusted hours give stores the ability to staff appropriately and provide additional time to restock shelves and perform cleaning. As part of our normal practice, our stores and other facilities are cleaned and sanitized daily. Following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we've increased the frequency of cleaning and general hygiene maintenance in stores and other locations. We've also stepped up our efforts to disinfect high-traffic and high-touch areas like self-checkout, door handles, and bathrooms, as well as posting signage about handwashing and other preventative actions.
We're promoting social distancing in our stores and distribution centers, which includes stores limiting the number of customers inside at any given time. In addition to training our associates on social distancing, we've placed distancing markers at some of our checkout counters and are making overhead announcements on our store PA systems asking customers to practice social distancing.

We deliver curbside – order online for convenient store pickup daily until 6 p.m. Here's how:
  1. Buy Online and choose the "Store Pickup" option on the product page or in your cart.
  2. Once your order is processed, you'll receive an email or text message letting you know that it's ready to pick up.
  3. Go to designated Curbside Pickup location at The Home Depot store you selected and follow the instructions received in your email or text notification for Curbside Pickup. Let us know you have arrived by selecting the link in your "Order Ready" communication. Remember to bring your identification.

They don’t make customers wear masks and the employees wear them improperly and/or take them off when they shouldn’t. Plenty of employees around but no one seemed to care. No one asked me if I needed help even though I was there close to an hour. No one cared that a customer wasn’t wearing a mask at all. Total fail.

Excellent Customer Service. After going to another Home Depot store TWICE with an tool issue, Joey P, Jose, Cori and Luis ALL worked through my receipt/tool replacement unavailability conundrum and issued me a credit. I understand the need to be diligent to offer returns/credits and this store took the time to solve my issue. I was about to swear off HD forever and you have restored my faith in HD!

I went on my lunch to get a specific bundle and Lupita went above and beyond to coordinate with Patrick to make sure I was taken care of. I became indecisive but Lupita did not let that stop me from my purchase. She answered every and all questions (I had many) with the upmost accuracy and politeness. She handled everything from tracking down the items to ringing me out. She offered other items that would go well with my purchase and when I couldn't spend more time at the store set a follow-up to make those purchases. I am beyond happy with my purchase and am happy I was able to work with Lupita and Patrick. Very professional and knowledgeable at this location I cannot wait to use my new tools.

They messed up the delivery of my flooring, despite me scheduling the delivery 3 days in advance, and calling 5 times the day of, spending over 2 hours on hold. Wasted a day and a half of time out of sheer incompetence.
