We're temporarily adjusting store hours to better serve customers and communities in response to COVID-19. Please check your local store for the most current operating hours.

What additional precautions is The Home Depot taking in light of COVID-19?
The adjusted hours give stores the ability to staff appropriately and provide additional time to restock shelves and perform cleaning. As part of our normal practice, our stores and other facilities are cleaned and sanitized daily. Following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we've increased the frequency of cleaning and general hygiene maintenance in stores and other locations. We've also stepped up our efforts to disinfect high-traffic and high-touch areas like self-checkout, door handles, and bathrooms, as well as posting signage about handwashing and other preventative actions.
We're promoting social distancing in our stores and distribution centers, which includes stores limiting the number of customers inside at any given time. In addition to training our associates on social distancing, we've placed distancing markers at some of our checkout counters and are making overhead announcements on our store PA systems asking customers to practice social distancing.

I had a bad experience with a return cashier her name is Jesusita 0586 00019 45476 goes by Jessica when I asked her for her name. As I was returning items to continue shopping, I kindly asked for my cart back. She rudely answered “well where do you want me to put items ” I told tell “ I don’t know” as I was thinking that’s her job since I had just returned the items. Had she said I don’t have a cart for them can you please get another; I would of understood,however,she was just RUDE with a bad attitude.I only needed my cart back to continue shopping to continue giving them my business, which I shouldn’t have since customer service was horrible. If she’s having a bad day, and mind you, it was early; not many customers, she needs to not take it out on customers or find another job altogether. I patiently waited for several minutes while she helped another customer and not very concerned about helping me. I finally asked an older gentleman for help. Harold thank you! The managers really need to have a talk with Jesusita and send her back to get customer service class or at least have her take lessons from older employees like Harold.

Store is usually clean and well stocked. Most employees are knowledgeable and helpful but if you're purchasing large amounts of items, double check amounts before paying. If you accidentally get overcharged then you have to take all your stuff and go back outside, get back in line and go to returns to get your $2.12 back.

The security tag on the items don't do anything, their detector didn't set off the alarm either. Wonder what the shrinkage is at the store?? Anyway, I bought an item and they forgot to take off the security tag and I forgot to notice as well until I got home. But then the store alarms should've gone off - or that item was not valuable enough - it was a clearance item.
