Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's part of The Home Depot Spring Deals sale?

Find some of the best savings of the season with our Spring Deals. New tools help take care of that to-do list as the weather brings sunny cheer. It's also a great time for organizing your home with the perfect storage, doing lawn and garden work outdoors, and setting up appliances indoors. Don't forget to upgrade your outdoor power equipment and patio furniture as well. Get everything done when you save during our Spring Deals sale, running from 4/23 through 5/10. Shop fast to catch these bargains.

How can I prep my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Be certain your home is equipped for spring temperature swings by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If water gets in the crevices, you might be in for a headache. On your house's exterior, inspect shingles or metal roofing for damage that can let water in. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent excess water from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.

Do you carry moving boxes?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, blizzards, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, keep in mind that inverter generators are pricier than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window or peephole when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

What's the project for the free Kids Workshop in May?

Head to our Kids Workshop on May 2nd, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a keepsake box! Your little builder can assemble their very own trinket holder — complete with a sliding lid. Remember to leave plenty of time to decorate your box with stickers!
