They always seem to be able to show innovation in coming up with solutions to customer concerns. Of course, things happen from time to time in retail but they go above and beyond to maintain the highest customer satisfaction.

I find the West Madison Home Depot to always have a decently stocked store, always with a few interesting things I didn't expect to find and with rare exception always has the items or solutions I'm looking for, regardless of how odd. The star are extremely knowledgeable about their categories of responsibility and are worth searching out if not immediately visible. Oh, the bathrooms are clean. That's appreciated, too.

I made an appointment to meet with a kitchen cabinet designer. He was there promptly on time and was very helpful and courteous throughout our meeting which lasted an hour and a half. I never felt rushed, or pressured to choose something more expensive or different than what I had in mind. A very good experience!

We're getting a new bed frame and mattress delivered next weekend and my partner said the rug in the bedroom was just too dirty and I needed to get it cleaned. I decided to rent a rug cleaner and do it myself but I had no idea what I was doing. I tried the local hardware stores but they had nothing available except Home Depot, especially the West Madison Home Depot which had lots of rug cleaning machines available. I looked at the accompanying video online before making a reservation so I knew a little about how the rug cleaner I'd be renting worked. When I went to pick up the machine at the West Madison tool rental desk I was assisted by staff that got all three things right: 1) they knew what they were doing, 2) they did their best to help me to know what I was doing, and 3) they were professional, polite and "good for the soul" and for one's confidence -- a rental desk of "mentors". The staff helped me pick out the type of cleaning product to go with the machine and the amount to buy and they were right on the nose on both. Jeff was the name of the staff member who showed me how to operate the rug cleaner when I asked. He was gracious and made it simple and understandable. Plus, he emphasized that bringing back a clean machine was wise because there could be penalties and because it wasn't that hard to bring back a machine as clean as it was when you rented it. I listened and learned. And it paid off. The rug cleaner fit easily into the car. I knew how to mix the cleaning solution, where to load it into the machine and when (and how) to empty the dirty water bin. The rug got cleaned. I knew how to re-address the bad spots. Cleaning the machine after I was done was a breeze. I brought the rug cleaning machine back later that day and Jeff was still at the tool rental desk. He checked the machine out to make sure it was clean and I passed. I was glad the job was done and I thanked him for making my job a whole lot easier than I expected. My partner has got a much cleaner bedroom rug for our new mattress. And I got the sense that I could do all sorts of things I'd never done by renting tools from Home Depot, watching their videos and talking with Jeff.

I was greeted at the door and immediately asked if I needed assistance by cashiers Michael and Ness. The whole team helped make my shopping experience feel fun and efficient (when big stores can often times feel like shopping for a needle in a haystack). Thank you!

item availability here is poor. customer service is not any better and they don't even answer the phone when you call the main number! Tried several DAYS with nobody picking up the phone

Bought a microwave a month ago and got the best price around. Dave the cashier was so good at helping me and also helped me take out a Home Depot card which saved me another $25!

Home Depot makes it hard to shop. I convered to the new iPhone code that I have to present to get the veteran's discount. The last four times I have tried to use it it was nothing but trouble. Self-checkout with the new code is a real joke. Some of the associates are clueless.

Living in a Frank Loyd Wright styled Prairie Home since 1988 we have dreamed of creating a beautiful open kitchen matching its unique characteristic. However after several disappointing attempts with local designers and builders who wanted to fit us to their mold instead of sharing our vision, we almost gave up the idea. Home bound due to pandemic we visited our local Home Depot and have been impressed with the dedication and professionalism of its kitchen design staff. Since May we have spent many hours with the kitchen design Crews who listened to us patiently and took pain to bring our ideas into a beautifully perfect yet detailed and affordable project for us We are very happy with our decision to work with Home Depot.

The outdoor patio set was very easy to assemble. As in most cases - real tools such as sockets and wrenches are helpful. The tools sent with the set would work if you didnt have access to alternate tools. The finished product is awesome.

It is a really nice store, but I prefer the one in lake Delton, due to the fact that the traffic isn't as congested and is easier to get to. But to be fair, they are both nice stores, I just don't get to go there very often, due to my health, and needing someone else to drive me

When we went to store for the countertop, the associate at the countertop department was very nice and explained in great details. your customer order specialist Jessica was great in working with the contractor and us in in setting up countertop installation. Great job!

I had a great experience with Don, the floor specialist. He was nice and easy to talk with. I came in with a situation and need help quick. Don educated me about carpet type along with paddings. I didn't even know they have pet-friendly carpet! We took some samples back and forth, probably leaving our seats 5x and he followed, which was appreciated. We got an estimate quote and overall had a great experience.

I was helped by an employee in the direction that I needed to be in, very knowledgeable of products. I also needed a partial refund from a prior transaction, and JT at customer service was very helpful and made for a quick and easy transaction.

I recently moved and remodeled a condo. I chose Behr paint for all the interior painting. I was extremely disappointed in this product. I purchased Behr premium paints (paint and primer in 1). I primed many of the walls, doors, and trim prior to painting but still had to re-coat many surfaces two and three times to get good coverage. I feel like the paint does not contain enough pigmented color to satisfactorily cover any color or primed surface effectively.

Gal in the tile department helped me locate the tile I needed, loaded the cart for me in the store and then was nice enough to load the tile into my car.
