Q:We have enjoyed our Claryum 3-Stage System for over a year now. However, I have a question about sanitizing or cleaning the system. Occasionally there is pink slime that will come out of the filter faucet. Please advise. Thank you.

      Answer This Question

A:  We bought our system about 8 months ago and have not experienced that condition. The only thing I can think of is old filters. They suggest changing filters every 6 months. We haven't changed ours yet as they are behind in manufacturing inventory. Hope this helps.

        Answer This Question

A:  Hello, Unfortunately, the AQ-5300+ Max Flow System will not help reduce nor remove radium from the drinking water. The AQ-5300+ has been tested and certified to NSF/ANSI Standards 42, 53 (includes P473), and 401 for the reduction of over 97% of chlorine and chloramines, 99% of lead, and 96% of PFOA/PFOS. It’s also certified to reduce mercury, chlorine-resistant cysts, herbicides, pesticides, VOCs, pharmaceuticals, and more. -Aquasana Customer Support

A:  Hello John, Thank you for your email. Yes, the filter with the white cap is meant for the housing with the red label.
