This floor can be installed over existing linoleum flooring, as long as the existing flooring is a single layer of non-cushioned flooring, fully glued down, clean and free of waxes and polishes, and is flat and smooth. Any texturing will need to be smoothed over with S-194 Patch, Underlayment & Embossing Leveler mixed with the S-195 Underlayment Additive. It is also fine over a radiant heated subfloor as long as the heating system is embedded into the subfloor and the temperature of the floor surface does not exceed 85° F (29° C). A:  Yes it is peel and stick. Installation is quite easy, just make sure the floor where you are installing is clean and free of little debris. I suggest knee pads as your back and knees will be sore.

A:  Awesome product. Wish it was in store also. Easy to install and cut / trim and is well secured with the adhesive supplied on the backing. The VALUE for the price point is the best. Will last a very long time when maintained properly. Repairs if ever needed are easy to remove and replace a damaged piece as accidents will happen. No problems with the peal and stick products.

The adhesive is not designed to hold in those types of installations, also the flooring has not had the necessary fire testing done to be classified as a ceiling or wall covering.
