A:  Starters-Handle is fuchsia in color. Once you get past that it’s a heavy well made shovel blade with stronger handle than most shovels. Should last a lifetime. It’s made in the USA!

A:  No I don’t think it is solid.... it does feel heavy enough However it is very heavy duty and comes with a lifetime warranty

A:  No it is not a solid fiberglass handle. This is directly from their website which has good information on the materials and construction of the shovel. See picture included. "Triple wall construction; a wood core through the stress point and thicker fiberglass the entire length with special proprietary rovings, mats and veils."

A:  The tool itself is 56". The handle measures 49".

A:  Too short. This illustration is very deceiving. Also the handle starts to stress easily when you excavate small rocks.

A:  40 inch handle (from top of collar to top end). Overall tool length 58 1/2 inches.
