Q:can Luxury vinyl planks straight edge 5mm be glued down on top the insul-armour?

A:  Hello LPP3, Yes, you may glue down the vinyl (minimum 5mm rigid core, not including backings or wearlayers) to the surface of your Insul-Armor.

    A:  Hello BTaylor, Please refer to our installation instructions for guidance: https://dricore.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/Insul-Armor-Instructions-ENG_Sept-2022_FINAL.pdf . A layer of OSB is not necessary for LVP. Please note, LVP core (SPC/WPC) must be at least 5mm thick.

          A:  Hello Gary, Yes, you may install Schluter Ditra Heat over our panels. Please use only a polymer modified mortar when installing over our OSB however.

                  A:  Hello Thom, Any vinyl that goes over the panels must be a minimum 5mm thick at its rigid core. Hope that helps!

                    A:  Not directly, floor sheathing such as 5/8" OSB is needed in between. Fasten the sheathing thru the Dricore into the substrate using 3" long screws or ring shank nails.

                      A:  Hello Tweek, You can use the Insul-Armor panels provided it is a consistent flat surface. You would not be able to install over joists. A finished flooring, as recommended in our installation guide, must be installed over top of your Insul-Armor as well.
