A:  Watch an on-line video. It is no easy feat. Until you know how. Then it is easy enough.

A:  You have to set the knob to a certain position to light the pilotfirst. I think it’s a safety feature so you don’t release a lot of gas and then try to light it. I think you can look at the manual online if you don’t have it. It is described in detail how to light it. Once lit, you can then easily adjust the level of the flame with the knob.

A:  You can feel the heat about 5 feet away from the heater when the fire is at high. Once you tank starts to go low and the fire is only half way up the tube you don’t feel much heat.
