A: Yes, either Analog or Digital dimmer should work
A: I don’t believe they are although we haven’t tried it. Typically if they aren’t advertised as being dimable then they won’t. We do love these lights and they put off a nice soft white light. We have them strung up on our deck. Definitly worth the money.
A: I would think so. Any incandescent bulb is dimmable. However, we have these on our deck and without a dimmer they give a great "outdoors Italian restaurant ' like ambience. Might not need a dimmer.
A: They do not have a dimmer, I purchased a separate dimmer cord and power strip to turn on and off without unplugging.
A: No they are not dimmable as purchased. Not sure if a separate dimmer switch would work, that's good question for an electrician. Excellent product though, we love them.
A: Hi no these do not dim. We have them on our pool fence and they’re really nice. Perfect lighting.
A: Insulated screw in hooks for a fence or the or gazebo are available at most hardware stores. The reason for insulated hooks are because they're dipped in rubber.
A: Zip ties are what I used. Worked great
A: Darek, thank you for your question. This string light has eyelet holes above each bulb to hang the strand. Any hook, string, or zip-tie can be used to hang the strand as long as it fits thru the eyelet hole without cutting into the hole. It is recommended to secure the strand in multiple places for safety.
A: Zip ties are what I used. Worked great.
A: Darek, I purchased Everbuilt hooks from the hardware depart at Home Depot. SKU# 340797
A: Hi John, thank you for your question. There string has 2 ft between each light and the receptacle side has 6 inches from bulb to plug and the prong side has 18 inches from bulb to plug.
A: The lead on the male end is 16" and 2" on the female end
A: 18" on my set.
A: Its about 1ft
A: About 3 feet
A: You could hang a 48ft string from each end but I would recommend adding strain reliefs on each end.
A: We bought two sets of lights, connected them together and used plastic ties to attached to our pergola. Our pergola is 320 square feet and a little over 90 feet linear. The lights cover the area nicely.
A: You will likely want a support in the center, but it is not necessary. For me I used stainless wire that was tightened between two anchor points. I then attached the light cord to the stainless wire by using plastic wire zip ties
A: Thank you for your question. String Lights must be supported by steel guide cables or other suitable supporting hardware such as S-hooks, screw hooks or zip ties (not included) whenever span distances exceed 24 feet. So in this case, the 48 feet string light hung end to end will need to be supported by additional hardware to ensure safety.
A: Yes. We purchased 4 of them for our daughters wedding and we hung them from beams in an old barn criss crossing them to light up the dance floor and tables. It was beautiful!
A: These might be overkill for inside... Def made for outdoor use in my opinion
A: Yes, these can be used inside. However there are cheaper options on there. These are more robust and intended to withstand the weather.
A: Yes, they are absolutely safe for inside use
A: Absolutely
A: These lights are great indoor or outdoor, but either way should be put on a grounded timer.
A: Thank you for your question. If a bulb burns out with no issues to the string light set itself, the other bulbs will continue to work and light up.
A: Yes
A: Yes. The others still work.
A: Yes, if one of the bulbs burns out the others will continue to work
A: All other lights continue to burn
A: I would call them a warm white, maybe even a dull white. They are not real bright, they are 10' above the ground for me and it would not be "easy" to read below in the evening.
A: They are a warm white
A: Warm white
A: I would call them a warm white. Definately not bright.
A: Thank you for your question. The light color of this string light set is 2700K (soft white).
A: Over each one of the bulbs is a small loop that can be used with a hook. Using a staple gun might be possible, but it would be difficult to remove the lights at a later date if you wanted to
A: A staple gun would not be advised for installation.
A: I recommend not as the cable is rather large, I would use a screw in hook. More secure and will hold the lights better.
A: No, I wouldn't recommend you to install with a staple gun; wires are thick.
A: it would be ok, but you would have to use some sort of wire tie most likely at the small hole at each of the lights as it would be difficult to hit the hole with the staple gun - but not impossible.
A: You can not shoot a nail through the wire . So no nail gun
A: Yes, but it is not necessary.
A: No no no- and again, NO
A: no, in my opinion the cable is to large. I would recommend using scree in hooks.
A: You would need to ensure the nails do not cut into the power cord connecting the lights. The only safe place would be in the small hole above the lightbulb socket, so it is not recommended.
A: Has US standard grounded 3-prong plug for 120 volt contacts. Will not work @ 220 volts.
A: No 110 only
A: This string light set should only be used in 130 volt outlets. Thank you.
A: No, this is for 110
A: No, this unit has a 130 Volt input line rating.
