          Q:I went to open the safe and turned the key and it got stuck. Even tried wd40 but it won't come out.the safe is not even a year old and its useless right now

          A:  Hello Lorena912. I’m Chris from the Home Depot’s how-to Community. Thank you for your question. Often when a key remains stuck inside the cylinder it is due to slop between the cylinder and its mount. It seems that you can open the safe, but cannot remove the key once it is locked. I would open the door first. Then while pushing the cylinder in towards the door with your fingers try to remove the key. If this works then tighten the cylinder nut on the inside of the door so the lock works normally. I hope this helps, Chris. .

              A:  No, it has no holes for mounting. This is a rated fire/water safe. Small enough to hide though.
