A: Everything went well for my son in-law
A: Hissing sound can be the water coming underneath the head & filling the tank OR can be the sound of the water splashing into the flush valve to allow the bowl to fill & give the flush good pressure. There is the black adjustment on the top at the fill tube. If you have this turned to line up with the tube then 40% of the water pressure is going to the bowl. If it is turned sideways then less water is going to the bowl & more is filling up the tank.
A: Yes, you can regulate the water flow by turning the black dial at the top. That will release air
A: Yes I bought it and installed it myself following instructions.
A: My suggestion would be to turn down the water pressure on the shut off valve to the toilet.
A: Change it
A: Not sure what that could be. Maybe something is stuck in it. I would bring it back for an exchange. good luck
A: Turn down the flow adjustment. It's the small dial on the fill hose. Read the instructions!

A: Just purchased and installed this one it works Great!
A: There are simple flapper valves you can pick up for a few dollars, or you can get a full kit. I don't know what the Jacuzzi insides look like, but I think all toilets are basically the same. Worst case, you spend $20 and get the full set like the Korky. Try cleaning both the flapper and the piece it seats against first; it can get slimy in the tank, and that or bits of rust can collect and cause a small leak.
A: Yes
A: Not certain if it’s a 3 inch flapper
A: If you are currently using the exact one listed. If your toilet seems to be losing water from within the tank causing it to flush on its own that’s one indication that the valve needs replacing. Before replacing , make sure that the flapper is not the one causing the water loss within the tank.
A: If you first change the flapper and you continually are leaking water or the water doesn't shut off , then change the valve. Simple to do no plumber needed.

A: Generally.... if the toilet is continuously filling ... the valve needs replacing
A: There was noise and toilet appeared to continously run.
A: Don't have that problem. I replaced flapper with the one provided. Possibly the connecting hose is loose? ML
A: Hello, JOB, Sounds to me, from your description, you might have to lower the water level in the adjustment in the valve, if there's no provision for adjustment, you might try lowering the water pressure at the shut-off valve. Some new replacement units will not work properly with higher water pressure. In the event you don't get the proper results with the settings I've suggested, you can return the item for exchange. I hope this helps out. If we can be of further help just contact The Home Depot.
A: Yes, this is normal...as long as all the water is running into your toilet tank you are fine and this is normal.

A: No
A: On the replacement kit, there is a line mark that you are supposed to adjust to the water line of the tank itself. You’ll have to twist the body by holding the top portion ( white in color ) in order to make the adjustment. Match the line on the kit to that of the tank and you should be fine.
A: While holding the bottom of the valve, turn the upper part of valve counterclockwise. This maneuver unlocks the valve allowing it to be adjusted up or down to match the desired water level. When the proper valve height is reached, turn the valve top clockwise to lock the height.
A: Great question, let us help! On the back of your toilet tank, there should be a mark labeled waterline. If your toilet manufacturer didn't stamp a line, you can use the water scum line as your guide. On the Korky fill valve, there is a waterline beneath the silver cap. Line the fill valve water line up with the scum line of your toilet tank. Twist the upper half of the fill valve a quarter turn to rotate. If you have additional questions, or would prefer to walk through this though the phone, we are here and happy to help! Please call 1-800-528-3553 or email sales@lavelle.com to speak with our customer service team. Your fill valve kit is backed by a 5 year warranty and we want to ensure your 100% satisfaction.
A: With the Not just on the side just turn it to the left and push down.
A: Read the instructions. In there you will find description of adjusting the height (down, in your case) of the filler tube, which has a float that turns off flow when the target level is met.
A: No. The kit comes with it and the clip. You may have to trim to fit as it is a long tube.
A: That's what we are here for! The tube that goes from the fill valve to the flush valve (refill tube) is included with every Korky fill valve. If you have additional questions or want help with the installation, we are here an happy to help, even if you would like to walk through each step of the installation over the phone. A: The tube that goes from the flush valve to the refill tube is included. It's likely longer than you need, but you can trim it to size.
A: Not a problem Al - the online community is always willing to help out fellow DIYers. The tube and clamp are included with the flush valve. Good luck with your project.
A: No all what you need is the valve Sometimes you also need to change the flapper But normally this valve is the problem To fill the tank correctly
A: It is a versatile option with adjusters. It will fit with most standard home toilets with an above tank. It will not work with commercial tank-less toilets
A: The valve will fit but not the flapper.....
A: To his is a universal type I to fit on my Kohler tiolet it should fit
