A:  No, the Maestro dimmers are not smart switches. The Pico is part of the Caseta family of smart switches and would work with the new Caseta Diva smart dimmer or the standard Caseta smart dimmer.

A:  Hello! No, the PJ2-3BRL will not be able to dim a non-dimmer switch. If you do not have a dimmer switch hardwired to your lights, the arrow buttons on the PJ2-3BRL will be unresponsive when you press them. A:  This item is the Pico remote only, and it doesn't come with the mounting bracket. The mounting bracket is model WBX-PICO-ADAPT, sold separately at Home Depot.

A:  No it's just the remote. You have to buy the caseta dimmer itself which is the switch that mounts in the switch box. The controls look just like the remote. It what that remote communicates with.

A:  The remote itself does not have the wall bracket.    You can purchase the bracket separately or you can purchase the wall kit which has the remote, bracket, cover.   The kit is probably the better buy.

A:  The PJ2-3BRL is a Pico remote that can pair to a radio frequency dimmer, such as Caseta Wireless, and control the lighting. The Pico remote is not a conventional dimmer by itself as it does not hardwire to a lighting load.
