A:  Its an ventalation fan for attics, for heat ventalation. I do not think you can use it for moisture ventalation.

A:  It is a thermost controlled unit. Design to vent out. Used to lower the temp in attics. Fan is pushing air out. I have it set at 90 degrees to turn on and live in Central Florida.

A:  This fan has an adjustable thermostat, it will start the fan when the temperature reaches the desired setting (recommended 105°f) and remain on until the temperature drops approximately 8-10 degrees from this setting. A:  I bought two of these fans one in the house attic very large area and one in the garage attic and they work great. Very easy to wire but I had someone install them in the roof for me. I have electric running in both attic so wiring was very simple to hook up.
