Q:You say it's not good to use under carpet tiles but why would that be a problem? It's flat and crush resistant, so is there a reason it wouldn't work under carpet tile aside from simply lack of testing?

                    A:  This product will work perfectly for that application. You do not want to go thicker as a thicker product could compromise the integrity of the locking mechanism on the vinyl plank.
