A: Apparently Ridgid has discontinued the saw, but there are some at local stores as "special buys".
You'll just have to go look in the store. The saw won't show as in stock online.
I found a demo at one store, which was the last one. They wouldn't sell the floor model, but they found a new one available in a nearby store using their tablet. This was on 3/7/2017.

A: I checked with the Hardware Department Supervisor at my store and he stated " it did not seem likely that the saw would be re-stocked at The Home Depot as it is shown as discontinued on the couputor which holds all the inventory for the company.

A: I check The Home Depot (THD) online listing for the Ridgid 10 inch sliding miter saw and THD lists th unit as discontinued. I believe THD wi no longer handle this saw.

A: These are on clearance in local HD stores. I picked one up tonight at the Houston BW8/Bellaire store for $315.
It does not show up in their inventory online; you'll have to go there and look or call your local store.
It's not just HD. Apparently Ridgid has discontinued this model again (2nd time).

A: With the reported wobble issues when fully extended for this model, It's not surprising it was discontinued. Hopefully they'll get their engineering sorted out quickly.

A: I have a 2" hose. So all I did was tie a string to the hose and saw handle. Attaching it to a points that made a nice loop on the hose

A: Yes it does, if you search YouTube they show how on a couple reviews. I returned mine due to what I read regarding blade wobble and my woodworking requirements, but some haven't had the issue according to Home Depot's reviews.
