The catalog loads we give are for using the 3" nail; however we do have reductions available when using a 1.5" nail into the header only; the nails into the joist will still need to be 3" nails. A:  Hi Monique, in order to confirm the material of your item please locate the stamp imprinted on the bottom of the seat on the hanger (where the beam will be resting in) and it should have LUS210-2Z . There should also be a sticker with "ZMAX" in teal on the item, if you do not see any of these indicators then you may have the incorrect item.
