Answer This Question
A: Proprietary? That is hogwash, all stainless have a rating or classification that is just a way to conceal the rating of the material or the fact that you dont know. IT does make a difference because not all stainless is the same or behave the same in all environments. I guess I will be buying something else.

A: Removing the lower shelf is possible however, it is not recommended because the shelf is needed to keep the table legs steady to accommodate the weight being put on the table top.

Q:I thought counter height is 36" while this one is described as 33.5" high. But it comes with leg levelers, the description says. Any chance that those levers can add height? Also, if we want to use this as a table we sit at, on stools, can we omit the shelf below the top surface? or is that shelf necessary for the stability and integrity of the whole design?

A: Update:
I just called Trinity customer service
Even when ordering from HD, the table comes from them. The table you get is the one with the updated part number of TLS-0201 and is 35" high. They also said the feet have 2" of adjustment in them.
So according to that, you can match your counter height of 36".
I am going to order one right now.

A: The Trinity website lists the height of this table at 35".
The 33.5" is too low for me too but I'm wondering if HD lists the height without the feet. It could be that if 35" is correct, they feet could adjust the height up 1" to reach the 36" you want.
Also, the Trinity website lists this table under part number TLS-0201 and HD lists it as TSC-WKT221. Don't know if Trinity could have updated the height with the part number change or not.
However, Walmart carries this same table listed under number TXD-WKT221 and they also report the height at 35"
