Great easy painting with this paint!

I’m a huge Behr fan and recommend it to all of my clients. I recently had a vanity, entertainment center and an old console TV a client wanted done in satin black. Typically I’d use alkyd enamel, but the Behr rep was present and recommended Dynasty. F this stuff. I always strain my paint before spraying and there was so much crap I had to grab a second filter for a quart. The coverage was good, but items were primed and sanded. The paint didn’t lay down for anything. Won’t buy again

Seals well put doesn’t cover well. You won’t need to prime patches if you do two coats or seal out stains. You will however need to prime to get color coverage. This pigment is very translucent. I put base white over top of off white and two heavy coats didn’t cover. Hard to brush on as it’s so thick. If you put on a heavy coat with the brush, your roller can’t match it so you’ll see a color difference where you brushed to rolled even after two coats. Matte finish is more like eggshell.

Re-writing because I was too long winded. BEHR DYNASTY OCEAN SWELL GREY MATTE. Very forgiving for me, trimmed with 3” angled brush, took some paint but dried nice and very little if any brush strokes. Rolled with 1/2” wooster marathon roller and came out perfect. Dried even with no lines. 1 coat only over white walls, will be purchasing again for sure. Found my paint of choice.

Great coverage. But I wish I had chosen a lighter shade. I like it, as is. But a slightly lighter shade would have brightened the room a bit better. Behr is the best!!

I’m very happy with this paint! My bedroom had dark green walls, when we bought our home. This paint covered it, with one coat!

When I started the project I was thinking what I was seeing could not be true and when the paint dried I would see where another coat was required. That was not the case at all.
