I've had the new toilet seats for about 5 weeks now and so far I can't say anything bad about them. The product is great and the best value. I can't imagine spending more on some of the other toilet seats I've seen. The color (white) matched the bowl perfectly and the style was nearly identical to the previous toilet seat which was also a Bemis. The installation was very simple...remove the old screws, install the new screws, place the hinges onto the screw tops, push down to snap into place, and twist the hinge "caps" to lock them into place. Snapping the hinges down took a bit of effort on one of the toilets, but it wasn't a deal breaker. I gave the product 5 stars although I should deduct half of a star for two reasons. 1) Although the seats can be removed from the anchor screws with a little bit of coaxing, removing them is not as easy and effortless as what is portrayed in the demonstration videos on Bemis' website. 2) There is no adjustability in the hinges. The bolt holes on one of my toilets are slightly off, so the seat looks ever so slightly crooked. You have to look at it really hard to see it so it's not a big deal for me. But if someone needs a toilet seat with adjustable hinges, this is not the seat for them.

The color was fine. However, they both have an odd, unpleasant smell! I thought it would disappear after a few weeks, but it has not!!!

Worked well over bidet insert. One hinge will not lock in place quite right, but fine for price.

I purchased 3 toilets' seats. I am very happy with them. I had to return 1 due to my not noticing that one of my toilets was oval shaped.

Easy to install, and it looks so clean and fresh ! My old seat had metal attachments that became corroded from cleaning. UGLY ! This new seat can be easily removed and cleaned. Stays looking great! And if a 71 year old woman can figure it out, (me) I guess anyone can install it!
